Day 1 Arrive Cartagena
Arrive at Cartagena airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cartagena
Day 2 Cartagena – Medellin (By Flight)
We fly to Medellín, where we have the chance to explore the second largest city in Colombia. Famous for its pleasant weather, it earns the nickname “the City of Eternal Spring”. Here we enjoy an orientation tour using local transport including metro and cable-car. Visit The Metropolitan Cathedral in Boliva Park which holds the record for most clay bricks of any building in the world with over 1.1 million. Overnight in Medellin,
Day 3 Medellin
Proceed to Medellin city tour.Here we enjoy an orientation tour using local transport including metro and cable-car.

Day 4 Medellin
We visit a coffee plantation and spend the night in a Hacienda. Learn all about the coffee making process on a coffee tour. We see the roasting process and flavour experimentation, take a walk through the plantation, and visit the wet mill where packaging takes place. Overnight in Medellin
Day 5 Medellin – Salento (By Road) (251 kms / 5 hrs 25 mins appx.)
Transfer to Salento. We visit the Cocora Valley by jeep where Colombia’s national symbol is grown, the wax palms. In the beautiful valley you can hike through the hills and enjoy the sights. In the evenings, make sure you try the regions speciality, trucha a fish normally served with rice but cooked many different ways. Overnight in Salento.
Day 6 Salento
Transfer to Salento. We visit the Cocora Valley by jeep where Colombia’s national symbol is grown, the wax palms. In the beautiful valley you can hike through the hills and enjoy the sights. Day 7 Salento – Bogota (By Flight)
We fly to Bogota, the capital and the largest city in Colombia. We stay in the Candelaria district, within walking distance of many of the main sights including the main square – Plaza Bolivar, the Cathedral and Simon Bolivar’s house. Here you can opt to take the cable cab to Monserrate for the incredible city views, or visit the world famous gold museum. Overnight in Bogota,
Day 08 Depart Bogota
Departure transfer to onward destination.
