Golden Greens Golf & Country Club is the 3rd of the golf courses in Gurgaon (near Delhi) of the National Capital Region. This is a rugged natural layout with a lot of character. While it does not look as manicured as some of the modern day designs, the Golden Greens golf club is greatly appreciated for what it is – a layout which seems to have been carved out of dense tall grass area with the backdrop of the Aravalli hills.
Designed by Richard Hawtree, the course presents a challenging layout especially when played from the championship tees – more than 7100 yards. It is a testing 18-hole links style course. Elevation Changes, doglegs, strategically placed bunkers are the norm at the Golden Greens golf course – so you have got to stay focused if you have to enjoy your round here.
