This half-day journey of Musandam Peninsula and its capital of Khasab offer a picturesque coastal backdrop that is an enjoyable sight in itself. Your tour has several stops, including the Khasab Fort, the Bukha Fort, and Al Haref.
Start your day when you meet your guide at the port main gate and climb aboard a spacious air-conditioned vehicle. You will be driven around the city of Khasab with detailed explanations of key landmarks. Visit the Khasab Fort and learn about this 17th-century structure built by the Portuguese when they were seeking dominion over the maritime trade in the Strait of Hormuz. The architecture of such a significant fort built from teak wood, palm leaves, and clay gives it exceptional strength against attacks and mother nature. Because this fort was built along the sea, it serves as an ideal stop for a photoshoot with its magnificent views.
After your first stop, continue your Khasab tour with a ride along the breathtaking coast that leads to Bukha. The one hour ride is so picturesque, your driver will stop several times for you to hop out and look around while snapping some photos. Once you arrive at the Bukha Fort, enjoy a detailed description of the structure and have a great time taking in the beautiful surroundings. Your driver will return you to the port after your scenic tour.
