Day 01: Monrovia, Liberia
Arrive Monrovia. Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
Depending on the time of arrival you may begin the historic tour of the capital of Africa’s first independent state.

Day 02: Monrovia
After breakfast go on a city tour of Monrovia; highlights include the remnants of Ducor Hotel, the highest point in Monrovia where the first lighthouse of Liberia, the Joseph Jenkins Roberts monument, Providence Baptist Church– Liberia’s oldest church which was built in the 18th century and where Liberia’s Declaration of Independence was signed.

Day 03: Monrovia – Blue Lake- Monrovia
After breakfast you will travel to Blue Lake which is surrounded by hills and which was accidentally discovered during a mining exploration. The afternoon, with the assistance of your driver and guide, decide on your activities and excursions.

Day 04: Monrovia –Robertsport– Monrovia
After breakfast go on a tour of Roberts Port, situated along the Sierra Leonean border and is famous for beautiful beaches, hiking trails and historical importance. In the 19th century freed African Americans arrived from the United States and settled in Robertsport. The area is scattered with large plantation-style homes, reminiscent of old Southern United States. Robertsport is also known for fishing and rice farming. You may enjoy a boat ride on beautiful Lake Piso, Liberia’s and West Africa’s largest and most scenic lake.

Day 05: Monrovia-Mangrove Paradise-Du River-Monrovia
Today you will visit the village of Bimen. Here you may learn to play the drums and the local cultural and ceremonial dances.
In the afternoon go canoeing on the Du River surrounded by Mangrove trees. Visit Bemah Village once inhabited by the Mamba Bassa ethnic group.

Day 6 – Monrovia -Gbarnga–Kpatawee- Monrovia
After breakfast drive to Gbarnga in Bong County and visit some Tribal villages to learn about the cultural history and archaeological imprint of these tribes. Afterwards visit the Kpatawee Waterfalls which are covered by a lush canopy.
Enjoy your afternoon at leisure or trek along the falls.

Day 07: Monrovia – Firestone Rubber Plantation – Monrovia
Visit the world’s largest rubber plantation, a part of Liberia since 1926. After lunch at the plantation restaurant, drive through some of Liberia’s Old Towns; including Bensonville, Crozierville, Dennisville, and Careysburg.
In the afternoon, visit the Jola House Women’s Social Enterprise see Artisans who have become self sufficient by creating and designing furniture and gift items.

Day 08: Monrovia
After Breakfast deprture transfer to the airport to catch the onward flight.
