The valley of Kashmir, in which Srinagar is located, is also referred to as being a heaven on earth. The Mughal emperor Jahangir was so captivated by the beauty of this valley that he exclaimed “Gar firdaus, ruhe zamin ast, hamin asto, hamin asto, hamin asto” (If there is a heaven on earth, it’s here, it’s here, it’s here). There are a number of tourist places in and around Srinagar.
The Dal Lake is an important tourist attraction of Srinagar. It is located on the eastern end of the city. The Dal Lake comprises of a series of lakes, including the Nagin Lake some 8 km from the city center. One can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Srinagar from this lake. Travelers can enjoy taking a ride on traditional Kashmiri boats or the Shikaras to explore the intricate maze of waterways of this lake.
The other major attractions of Srinagar city are the well laid out Mughal styled gardens. The Shalimar Bagh and the Nishat Bagh are beautiful gardens located to the far eastern side of the Dal Lake. One can take a stroll amongst these green and attractive gardens and enjoy the waterworks within them.
The temple of Shankaracharya is another important place to visit in Srinagar. Jaluka, the son of emperor Ashoka, built it in the 3rd century BC.
Day 01 Arrive Delhi (By Flight) / Delhi – Srinagar (By Flight)
Arrive Delhi, meet assist and transfer to domestic airport for connecting flight to Srinagar.
Arrival and transfer to Hotel.
Afternoon tour of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh. Evening one hour shikara ride at Dal Lake.

Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh the place of pleasure built by the brother in law of Jehangir AsifKhan in 1632 AD and Shalimar Bargh the place of love built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan’s .. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the lake with mountains Zabarwan on your other side.
Day 02 Sri Nagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
Early morning again one hour shikara ride at Dal Lake.
In the morning departure to Gulmarag called meadow flowers that is a Snow Fall, Gulmarag Tour & Travel2370 meters from sea level. Srinagar distance this place is 60 kms. Gulmarg has one of the best ski resorts in the world , being the center of ski highest 18-hole world.
Also you can have a magnificent view of Nanga Parbaht, if time permits .. It will make a short trip to Khilamarang which can last 3 to 4 hours RAIL-WIRE to reach the top.. are also available not included. lunch boxes will be taken on a picnic from Houseboat.Regreso Srinagar-the evening will be made a Shikara ride on the lake and the magnificent, typical and colorful floating market.

Day 03 Srinagar – Pahalgam – Srinagar
Breakfast and early departure for day trip to Pahalgan.
Overnight in Srinagar.
Pahalgan the so-called Valley of Shepherds to 180 kms around 4 hour trip visiting en route plantations saffron, the ruins of Awantipura a temple 1100 years old dedicated Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman.Viaje through vast pine plantations in the Himalayan foothills and along the River Leader.
Day 04 Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil (By Road) (203 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx.)
Breakfast and departure for Kargil. On the way visit Sonamarg.
Arrive Kargil, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Kargil.
Sonamarg: is situated at a height of 2740 m in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Sonamarg is a small and beautiful hill resort. Sonamarg literally means the ‘Meadow of Gold’ and is known so due to the flowers that wraps the meadow in the spring. In the earlier days, Sonamarg lies on the main trading route into central Asia. Sonamarg is the last major point in the Kashmir valley before the Zoji La pass into Ladakh. At the pass, the green and lush Kashmiri landscape changes to the barren and dry landscape of Ladakh. Sonamarg offers various places of interest to the tourists like Nilagrad, Bisansar Lake & Krishnasar Lake and Nichnai Pass.
Kargil at an altitude of 2,704 m, 204-km from Srinagar in the west and 234-km from Leh in the east, is the second largest urban centre of Ladakh and headquarters of the district of same name. It’s situated in a lovely valley with apricot trees growing in the intensively cultivated fields. Once A Trade Route! A quite town now, Kargil once served as important trade and transit centre in the Pan-Asian trade network.
Day 05 Kargil – Lamayuru – Uleytokpo (By Road) (149 kms. / 3 hrs. 12 min)
In the morning, vdrive to Leh. On the way visit Lamayuru.
Lamayuru Geographically and culturally Ladakh is a unique world with its smooth and arid mountain valleys, their cultural and religious ceremonies. Passengers who have been to Tibet that Tibetan culture is best preserved in Ladakh in Tibet itself. Check in and rest of the day free to acclimatize to the altitude.
Overnight in Uleytokpo.
Day 06 Uleytokpo – Alchi – Likir – Leh (By Road) (83 km/ 1 hrs. 50 min.)
After breakfast enjoy the visit to the village Alchi, one of the oldest monasteries in Ladakh. Alchi, nestled between majestic mountains and rolling wheat fields. After the sightseeing, drive to Leh. The capital of Ladakh, at one time was a major stop on the Asian” Silk Route. Stroll along the main bazaar, observing the varied crowd and peering into the Curio shops is an entrancing experience.
On the way to Leh, Visit the village of Nimo and stop for photo session at River Zanskar Proceed further to visit Basgo Fort & Likir. Likir is situated in a side valley about 05 Kms from main Srinagar – Leh highway. Likir belongs to Ge-Lung-Pa sect; the monastery also maintains and runs a school for young Lamas. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 Leh
After breakfast, drive for an excursion tour to Spituk.
Later in the afternoon, visit Shankar Gompa. Overnight at the hotel.
Spituk This is one of the most important monastery in Ladakh , its belongs to Gelugspa or yellow head ordeSpitukr, Monastery was founded by Lama Lawang Lotus and King Dragspa Bumlde in 15th century, One could visit various temple dedicated to different deities.
Shankar Gompa, which is towards the north of the Town, The monastery is only 130yrs old and is the seat for the head lama of Spitok Monastery.Later visit Shanti Stupa, the Japanese for World Peace built the Shanti Stupa, at Changspa, on the hilltop, and was inaugurated by Dalai Lama in 1992. It’s state of the art work attracts a lot of tourists to Ladakh and is spectacular to watch. From there one can see spectacular view of Leh town and Indus valley.
Day 08 Leh – Nubra Valleyx` (By Road) (116 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
We continue our journey through the Nubra valley crossing Khardong-La pass 5,600 m, the highest road in the world from where you can see the mountain ranges of Karakorum. The Shyok and Nubra river, which have their origins in the Siachen Glacier 7,500 m, meet in this valley. The caravans of the famous Silk Road passed through this valley to Kashgar, and Sinkian Yarkland. We arrived at Gangles, the highest village in the Valley of Leh 4,200 m.

Day 09 Nubra Valley – Leh (By Road) (116 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
In the morning, visit the famous Shey Palace 12 km from Leh worshiping a statue of Buddha covered in gold 7.5 m. We continue to Thiksey Monastery 20 km, one of the most beautiful in Leh, which belongs to the Gelukpa order. Finally we visit the Hemis monastery 20 km, the largest and richest in the area. Overnight in Leh.
Day 10 Leh
After breakfast visit Thakthok, Chemday and Stakna monasteries. Takthok Thakthok Monastery is situated in the village of Sakti. Before the monastery was founded there was a meditation cave of a Mahaadiddha called Kunga Phuntsog. Chemday Monastery is situated 40 Kms east of Leh. The monastery is situated there on the mountain side and was founded 365 years ago by Lama Tagsang Raschen with the Dharmaraja Singey Namgial acting as patron. There is a sacred image of Padmasambhava to be seen there, one storey in height. There are, furthermore, many shrines. A custom exists whereby every year on the 28th & 29th days of the 9th Tibetan month sacred dances are performed in association with the festival of an initiatory ritual. The successive reincarnations of Lama Tagsang Raschen act as the incumbents. Stakna gompa which is famous for its numerous statues and paintings Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 Leh – Delhi (By Flight) / Delhi–Agra–Delhi (205 Km/ 4 hrs- One Way)
Early morning departure to Leh airport for flight to Delhi.
On arrival, drive to Agra through express highway to visit Taj Mahal. Later, drive back to Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.
Agra -Historians suggest Agra to be the Agravana in the epic Mahabharata. It is expected to be known as Agralapura during the medieval age. An archaeological fact pushes the existence of Agra back to three million years. The Lodhi dynasty ruled over Agra for a long time. It was in the onset of the sixteenth century that the Mughals took over the ruling of Agra from the hands of Lodhis.
Taj Mahal Shah Jahan the great emperor and a great builder constructed Taj Mahal in the loving memory of his beloved wife Anjuman Bano Begum. Shah Jahan met this beautiful girl in his young age and later gets married with her. Taj Mahal completed in 1653 A.D. finished in by white marble, it is perhaps India most fascinating and beautiful monument.
