Ninh Thuan
Ninh Thuan is a mountainous, heavily forested province in southeast Vietnam. Sandy beaches like Ninh Chu and Vinh Hy line the coast. Coral reefs fringe Nui Chua National Park in the northeast. The province is home to many Cham people, an ethnic minority which celebrates its distinctive cultural traditions during the Kate Festival (Cham New Year). Cham towers (ancient Hindu temples) include Po Klong Garai and Po Rome.Ninh Thuan’s topography is typical for the South Central Coast in that high mountains are located not only near western border to the Central Highlands, but also near the coast, the highest of which is Chua mountain at 1,040 metres (3,410 ft) in the north east of the province.Several other peaks with heights up to 643 metres (2,110 ft), including Da Bạc mountain in the south, are located along the coast.
