Agua Fría
This refreshing place located in the city of Chalatenango, 78 kilometers from San Salvador, was inaugurated in March 1977 and its name comes from the river with the same name, which supplies all the pools in the Park.
Agua Fría has an area of 73 acres of land, 5 of which were donated by Don Antonio Rivera, a Chalateco citizen who had the desire and vision of giving a natural legacy to the new generations, allowing them a space for healthy recreation.
Its vegetation, tranquility, pure air and contact with nature are the main qualities that tourists will find in this Chalateco oasis, they can also enjoy delicious and refreshing waters in the “Posa Fría”.
Guazapa Volcano
Geographical formation of up to 1436 meters above sea level and 22 km. Enjoy hiking, walking or horseback riding, war caves (tatús), viewpoints and canopy, it tells stories of the armed conflict.

Costa del Sol Park
Costa del Sol Park is located in the Canton San Antonio de Los Blancos in San Luis La Herradura, department of La Paz, in the coastal area of the same name and 65 kilometers from San Salvador. The first stage of this park which is built in front of the beach was inaugurated in 1975 and the second that has access to the Jaltepeque estuary in 1976.
With an area of 35 acres, the Park offers one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches in our country, it also has a mangrove that can develop rationally and from where you can enjoy boat rides along the estuary with your family.
Costa del Sol Park provides pool service for adults and children in both stages of the same, parking area, family cabin service, restaurants, basketball court, in addition to having one of the most modern beach soccer stadiums, in which international sporting events have taken place.
Ataco
A town of pre-Columbian origin, the scenery, culture and cobbled streets was sufficient to be included as part of the Flowers Route. Its name of Nahuat origin means “Place of sacred water”. Known for being a very colorful town since most of its walls have been decorated with colorful and creative murals referencing Salvadoran culture.
Atecozol
Its name comes from the indigenous roots of Nahuatl origin, which means “Cradle of the Lord of the Waters”, it is located in the City of Izalco, department of Sonsonate, 58 kilometers from the capital of San Salvador.
It is one of the most attractive Recreational Parks that El Salvador has to offer, it has an area of 42 acres and is surrounded by exuberant vegetation and trees where the naturally developed balsam predominates. It is considered of great use for medicinal purposes.
Atecozol offers visitors two natural pools for adults, five pools for children, picnic areas, restaurant, cabins, soccer field, Mayan ball court; in addition to having a temazcal and cultural vestiges that include works by the national sculptor Valentín Estrada, paying homage to pre-columbian characters and legends such as “La Cuyancúat”.
