Pendjari National Park
The National Park of Pendjari was classified forest and partial wildlife area of the loop of the Pendjari December 13, 1954.
It acquired the status of Biosphere Reserve in June 1986. The Biosphere Reserve is located in the northwest of the Republic of Benin , on the border with Burkina-Faso. It is located in the Department of Atacora more precisely in the sub-prefectures of Tanguiéta , Materi and Kérou .
