TURTLE NESTING IN PONTA MAMOLI
Ponta Mamoli is a holiday destination which is situated 25 kilometers from the Kosi Bay border post. It is probably the best place to see the act of turtle nesting. The female turtles come here to lay eggs between November and March along the beaches. They crawl along the beach right through the night, dig holes and lay up to 300 eggs, cover them with sand and get back to the sea. This looks like the colonies constructed by the turtles which has its own beauty.
SNORKELING WITH WHALE SHARKS IN TOFU BAY
Mozambique has an international reputation for having the most beautiful marine life and the visitors feel amazed that it is indeed possible to swim with whale sharks that the Hollywood shows as devils for the mankind. Tourists can sip on the local drink, ‘Sura’ which is made from the juice of coconut trees while they are flowering. The yacht will take you along the beautiful coral reefs and a vibrant marine life can be sensed.
EXPLORING VILLAGES ON 4 WHEEL QUAD BIKES
This is undoubtedly one of the most distinctive experiences that one can have nowhere other than Mozambique.
