Visit Constantine
Located within the northeastern province of Algeria Constantine is a unique natural citadel and this city is among Africa’s oldest cities with a great history that dates back to 600 BC. This capital of the northeastern province was previously referred to as Cirta by the Carthaginians who founded it and despite it being the oldest city in Algeria today it is still inhabited by a very large population of people. Some of the key sites to visit here include the Djamma el-Kebir mosques as well as the Ahmed Bey Palace.
