Day 01 Arrive Delhi (By Flight)
Arrive Delhi, meet and assist on arrival, welcome with fresh flower garlands and transfer to hotel.
Later city tour of Delhi.
Delhi – India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind. The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British & the Moghuls respectively.
Tourist Attractions: Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, Red Fort (Photo Stop), which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648, Chandni Chowk and Rajghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament, Qutab Minar.
Day 02 Delhi – Raipur (By Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Raipur.
On arrival, meet assist at transfer to the hotel. Later, city tour of Raipur. Overnight in Raipur.
Raipur is the capital city of Chhattisgarh state in central India. In the center, the ancient Dudhadhari Math temple is a sacred monument dedicated to Lord Rama, decorated with scenes from the epic poem “Ramayana.” Nearby, a statue of the Hindu monk Swami Vivekananda towers over Vivekananda Sarovar lake. Southeast, Purkhouti Muktangan is an open-air museum featuring landscaped grounds, statues and tribal artifacts.
Visit: Mahant Ghasidas Samarak Sangrahalay, Swami Vivekanand Sarovar, Gandhi Udyan Park, ISKCON Raipur and Town Hall.
Day 03 Raipur – Jagdalpur (By Road) (290 Kms. / 6H 10M)
After breakfast, Then set off to Jagdalpur. Bastar tribal region is a part of Jagdalpur.
Here, you will be able to learn better the ways of innumerous tribal people and watch the mind blowing wildlife species. You will arrive at Jagdalpur late and check in to the hotel and stay overnight peacefully.
Jagdalpur is a city in the tribal district of Bastar in Chhattisgarh, a state in central India. On the banks of the Indravati River, ornate Bastar Palace was built by the region’s former kings. The nearby Anthropological Museum displays tribal artifacts. West of the city, Chitrakote Falls cascades over broad cliffs. To the southeast, tigers roam through teak and bamboo forests at Kanger Valley National Park.
Day 04 Jagdalpur – Kanger Valley NP (By Road) (41 Kms. / 1H – One Way)
Post breakfast, get a drive to the famous Kanger Valley National Park.
Kanger Valley is known for its unique wildlife and the verdant greenery around.
Spend enough time here and roam around to grab the most scenic images of the valley.
This is a famed capital of limestone caves especially the stalagmite and stalactite formations found aplenty.
Utilize the chances to meet the tribal people in their houses and enjoy being with them.
Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch at the famous Tiratgarh Fall. Tiratgarh Fall is a flabbergasting and unique spectacle.
You will be taken back to Jagdalpur by evening and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 05 Jagdalpur–Chitrakoot–Jagdalpur (By Road) (42 Km/ 55M – One Way)
In the morning, get ready to do a remarkable excursion to the significant attraction, Chitrakote falls after breakfast.
This is a horse shoe shaped waterfall created by the scintillating Indravati River and it has been called as the Niagara waterfalls of India.
After enjoying the beauty of the waterfalls, you will be taken back to Jagdalpur. On the way you will be able to visit the famous Anthropological Museum which gives you an idea of the Bastar tribal culture.
Proceed to Nagarnar the centre for the world famous terracotta handicrafts.
Return to hotel for dinner and stay overnight at Jagdalpur.
Day 06 Jagdalpur
After breakfast, enjoy a visit to a famous ‘haat’ (weekly market).
The haat displays the exemplary picture of the local tribal life.
Explore the town, or just relax at your hotel. Stay overnight at Jagdalpur.
Day 07 Jagdalpur – Narayanpur – Raipur (By Road) (349 Kms. / 7H 40M)
After breakfast today, start your return journey to Raipur by road.
Enroute, enjoy a side trip to Narayanpur.
Narayanpur town is the administrative headquarters of Narayanpur district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. It is one of two new districts created on 11 May 2007, originating from the Bastar district.
The place is known for its excellent handicrafts, which are considered the finest in the Bastar region.
The bell metal, woodcraft, wrought iron and bamboo artifacts are wonderful. Ramakrishna Mission Center is another worth visiting tourist attraction at Narayanpur.
Arrive at Raipur and check-in at hotel. Stay overnight at Raipur.
Day 08 Raipur – Delhi (By Flight)
After breakfast, drive to Raipur International airport for flight to Delhi.
On arrival, meet assist and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 09 Depart Delhi (By Flight)
Departure transfer to Delhi International airport for flight to onward destination.
