Day 01 Arrive Beijing
Arrival at Beijing airport meet, assist and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Beijing
After breakfast, proceed to today your memorable tour starts! You will meet your group members in the hotel lobby and have a short meeting. Then head to the first stop, Tian’anmen Square, the biggest urban city square in the world. From there you will enter the Imperial Palace, also known as the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will not only learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives, but appreciate numerous ancient art treasures.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heave, where the emperors worshipped the heavens in hopes of good harvests. To round out a memorable start to your travel, we will arrange a lively and dramatic Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theater. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Beijing
After breakfast, proceed to the morning itinerary will take you to Badaling to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall and a jade factory. We suggest you wear a pair of comfortable shoes as you need to climb steps to get on the wall. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory.
To celebrate and commemorate this moment, we specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall. The restaurants nearby are not up to our serving standard.
In the afternoon, the journey will take you to the Sacred Way. En route to downtown, you will have a chance to see the exterior of the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium). Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Beijing – Xian (By Flight)
After breakfast, proceed to the first stop of today’s itinerary is the Summer Palace – the largest existing imperial garden with a graceful landscape and magnificent constructions. Then we will go to a pearl store.
In the afternoon, a trip to the old Hutongs will conclude your memorable Beijing trip. Taking the local rickshaw and traveling along the narrow lanes, you will get a close touch with the original Beijing lifestyle and culture.
Then your guide will see you off at the airport for the flight to Xian. On your arrival in Xian, the local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area and transfer you to the downtown area to check in at the hotel for a two-night stay. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Xian
After breakfast, proceed to the visit magnificent Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum will start your day’s trip. In the museum, there are altogether three excavated pits exhibiting amazing warrior figures and Chinese ancient weapons. No wonder a great site to learn about Chinese ancient military affairs. Then a pottery making factory is scheduled.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built about 1,300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from ancient India. A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Showwhile partaking of the famous Dumpling. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Xian – Shanghai (By Flight)
After breakfast, proceed to you will head for Shaanxi History Museum.
Then pay a visit to the City Wall. It is the most complete existing urban fortification in China. Cycling on the ancient wall is a special experience that many people like to try (bike rental fee is not included).
In the afternoon, you will board the flight to Shanghai. Your local guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Depart Shanghai
A day journey will show you the essence of Shanghai. This morning, you will visit one of the four largest museums in our country, Shanghai Museum, which specializes in exhibiting art works from ancient times. After that, explore Yuyuan Garden. The symbol of the Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion. Then a silk store is arranged.
In the afternoon, wander in the famous Bund area and Nanjing Road, and then visit an old street in Shanghai. Upon returning to the hotel, our guide will see you into the lobby to say bon voyage,in the early evening , you will departure transfer to onward destination.
