The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of The British & the Moghuls respectively. Jama Masjid: the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan. Chandni Chowk and Rajghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. The Lakshmi Narayan Temple or the Birla Temple as it is popularly known enshrines Lord Vishnu – the preserver of the Hindu Trinity. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament, Qutab Minar -Qutubuddin Aibak laid the foundation of Qutab Minar, as a victory tower, in 1199 AD.

Day 02 Delhi – Varanasi (By Flight)
Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to board flight for Varanasi, meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon city tour.
Varanasi – It has been known as Kashi and Banaras, its present name is a restoration of the ancient name meaning the city between the two rivers – Varuna and Asi. The eternal city is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. Situated on the banks of the sacred river Ganges Kashi Vishwanath Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is popularly known as the golden Temple due the Gold plating done on its 15.5 meter high spire.

Day 03 Varanasi
Early morning sunrise boatride on holy river Ganges.
Later, back to the hotel for shower and breakfast.

Day 04 Varanasi – Khajuraho (By Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Khajuraho.
Afternoon sightseeing of Khajuraho.
Khajuraho – In the temple architecture of India, the Khajuraho complex remains unique. One thousand years ago, under the generous and artistic patronage of the Chandela Rajput kings of Central India, 85 temples, magnificent in form and richly carved, came up on one site, near the village of Khajuraho. The amazingly short span of 100 years, from 950 AD – 1050 AD, saw the completion of all the temples, in an inspired burst of creativity. Today, of the original 85, only 22 have survived the ravages of time; these remain as a collective paean to life, to joy and to creativity; to the ultimate fusion of man with his creator.

Day 05 Khajurhao–Orchha–Jhansi (By Road) (205 Km/5H)/Jhansi–Agra(Train)
Morning After breakfast leave by private AC car to Orchha.
On arrival, city tour of Orchha.
Orchha is a town in Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh state, India. The town was established by Rudra Pratap Singh some time after 1501, as the seat of an eponymous former princely state of covering parts of central & north India, in the Bundelkhand region.
Later, transfer to jhansi railway station and board train for Agra at 1755 hrs.
Arrive at 2025 hrs and transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 06 Agra
After breakfast, full day city tour of Agra.
Visit Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Sikandra, Itmad-ud-daula, Mehtaab Bagh.
Overnight in Agra.
Day 07 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur (265 Km/ 6H 50M)
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur.
On the way visit Fatehpur Sikri and Abhaneri.
On arrival, transfer to hotel.

Fatehpur Sikri is a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site.
Abhaneri, located at a distance of 95 km from Jaipur on Jaipur-Agra Road, is a village in the Dausa district of Rajasthan. The place is widely popular as it is home to a colossal stepwell, Chand Baori, which is considered among the most beautiful stepwells of India. The village of Abhaneri is believed to have been established by Samrat Mihir Bhoj who was a Gurjar Pratihar king.
The village was originally named Abha Nagri, which means the “city of brightness”; however, with time, due to mispronunciation of the term, it has changed to Abhaneri.
Day 08 Jaipur
Morning after breakfast start city tour of Jaipur
Jaipur- Popular in the name of Pink City, Jaipur is and important destination in Golden Triangle of Indian tourism founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities – and repainted in 1876, during the visit of the Prince of Wale Excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance.
Visit Amber fort with Jeep or Elephant ride Up to Fort. Afternoon tour includes the imposing City Palace, the ancient Observatory and exotic Hawa Mahal “The Palace of the Winds”, City Palace etc.

Day 09 Jaipur – Cochin (By Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur airport for flight to Cochin.

Day 10 Cochin – Munnar (By Road) (127 Kms. / 3H 55M appx.)
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Cochin.
Cochin – the palmgreen commercial town of Kerala has one of the finest natural harbours in the world. A town with a hoary past, Cochin is the gateway to Kerala. The Jewish Synagogue – built in 1568 AD contains Grand Scrolls of the Old Testament and the copper plates containing the privileges granted to the Jews by the Cochin rulers. The floor of the synagogue is paved with exquisite Chinese hand painted tiles.
Cochin or Kochi is an all time favourite place for tourists from all over the world. Known as commercial capital of Kerala, Kochi is also offers forts, palaces, beaches, backwaters, old churches, snakes boat races, Kathakali, and museums etc. Kochi is basically a collection of islands and narrow peninsulas which makes it more attractive for nature lovers. Cochin is sometimes referred to as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’.

Day 11 Munnar

Periyar – is one of the most well preserved biosphere reserves in India and is an important tourist attraction in the state of Kerala. It was in the year 1933 that S.C.H. Robinson was made the first game warden of the park and a year later Nellikkampatty Game Sanctuary was formed here. Another important event took place in the Periyar’s history when it was declared a wildlife sanctuary. Due to an appreciable number of tigers in this sanctuary it was declared as Tiger reserve in the year 1978, thus adding to the park’s importance.
Day 13 Periyar–Alleppey (138 Km/4H) /Alleppey–Kumarakom (Houseboat)
After breakfast, drive to Alleppey.
On arrival, embark houseboat to experience the backwaters of kerala.
Enjoy 2-3 hours of houseboat experience.
Later, disembark in Kumarakom and transfer to the hotel.

Alappuzha (Alleppey) is known as ‘the Venice of the East’. Offering the best tourist places in Alleppey, this charming place is the hub of Kerala’s backwaters and is home to a huge network of backwaters and more than thousand houseboats. The houseboats you find in the backwaters of Alappuzha are in fact a reworked version of the Kettuvallams of olden times. Kettuvallam is a Malayalam word, ‘Kettu’, means living structures and ‘Vallom’ means boat. In the olden days, kettuvallam or boat with a thatched roof that covers over wooden hulls was used to carry tons of rice and spices.
The modern houseboats are equipped with all the comforts of a good hotel room like air conditioners, modern toilets, cozy living rooms, a kitchen and even a balcony for angling. An uninterrupted view of life in the backwaters fringed with coconut trees can be enjoyed from a houseboat. A perfect place to unwind with its laidback canals and lush greenery. The Alappuzha beach with a 137-year-old pier extending into the sea and an old 17th-century lighthouse built by the Portuguese add to the magic of the place. It is famous for its boat races, marine products, and coir industry.
Kumarakom: The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and is part of the Kuttanad region. The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres is a favourite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist’s paradise. Egrets, Darters, Herons, Teals, Waterfowls, Cuckoo, Wild Duck and migratory birds like the Siberian Stork visit here in flocks and fascinate all visitors.
An enchanting backwater destination, Kumarakom offers visitors many other leisure options. Boating and fishing facilities are available at the Taj Garden Retreat, a sprawling old bungalow-turned-resort.

Thiruvananthapuram (or Trivandrum) is the capital of the southern Indian state of Kerala. It’s distinguished by its British colonial architecture and many art galleries. It’s also home to Kuthira Malika (or Puthen Malika) Palace, adorned with carved horses and displaying collections related to the Travancore royal family, whose regional capital was here from the 18th–20th centuries.
