Find out why the Polynesian Cultural Center is Oahu’s number one paid attraction. Couple this with a deluxe Oahu sightseeing circle island tour and you won’t be able to imagine a better way to spend your day in paradise.
On the way to the cultural center, catch a taste of old plantation days at the Dole Pineapple Plantation Pavilion, which is located in Oahu’s center. Here you will have about 25 minutes to see how pineapples grow and try some mouthwatering pineapple dole whip. Or how about some fresh pineapple chunks? They are probably the freshest and sweetest you have ever eaten.
Continue to Oahu’s North Shore and see the world-famous big wave-surfing beaches, such as Waimea Bay, Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach. Surfing is a part of life on the north shore affecting fashion, work, social life and the culture. Based on traffic, a photo stop will be made at one of the beaches.
Your adventure continues with a trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center, where you will enjoy an all you can eat barbecue buffet, cultural demonstrations, a visit to a village or two, and interactive performances on the Center’s grounds.
There are more sights to see as you drive to La’ie Point, and past the Tropical Farms Plantation to the serene Byodo-in Buddhist temple. Finish the tour with a stop at the incredible Pali Lookout boasting the best views of Windward Oahu and the Koolau Caldera.
