Leave Montreal and tour along the Lac des Sables for a fifty minute cruise down the seven and a half mile shoreline. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of seven islands, famous and charming homes dating back to 1890, and quaint French villages. Take in the magnificent Laurentian Mountains, which peak at over 3,500 feet. Natural landscapes vary along the way, allowing you to see some of Canada’s most beautiful forests, valleys, and lakes.
Enjoy free time at Mont St. Sauveur Village, a popular travel destination nestled in the Laurentian Mountains. You will have time to visit the local shops, cafes and historic buildings. Home to Quebec’s ski industry, Mont St. Sauveur is a wonderful and charming resort village whose businesses and locals welcome visitors with open arms and warm smiles.
Departing from Mont St. Sauveur, you will travel to St. Adolphe d’Howard, where you will make a short stop to enjoy the ambiance and beauty of Lac Joseph and the quaint village, before making your way to Mont Tremblant. At Mont Tremblant, take the opportunity to explore the village at your leisure. You could choose from among many quaint local restaurants for lunch, browse the boutiques for some souvenir shopping, or ride a panoramic gondola to the highest peak in the Laurentians.
After your tour and free time, your guide will conveniently return you to Montreal. The approximately two hour journey back to Montreal will provide you a wonderful scenic ride through the countryside, and is a pleasant and relaxing end to your fantastic Canadian tour.
