Travel through some of the most stunning landscapes of the Westfjords as you begin this adventure directly to Dynjandi, the majestic icon of the Westfjords. The panoramic, scenic sights are unrivaled as you are driven through the beautiful fjords to the Dynjandi waterfall.
Upon arrival, be allowed up to one hour to enjoy the breath-taking views, and listen to the soothing sound of Dynjandi cascading down the mountain in a series of seven waterfalls. The top tier is certainly the most impressive but each one of the other six is unique on their own. An easy hike is highly recommended and worth doing up to the top tier for a most magnificent view.
On the return trip to the port you will stop for approximately 45-minutes at Hrafnseyri where you can enjoy light refreshments, explore the traditional turf houses and church or visit the museum dedicated to Iceland’s independence hero Jón Sigurdsson who was born in Hrafnseyri.
