Day 02 Melbourne
proceed for a city tour of Melbourne. Later visit the Eureka Tower – Skydeck 88 to get awe inspiring views from the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere. It also features the unique and challenging “Edge” experience for the brave souls. The Edge is a 5 minutes moving cube experience “out of the building”. Later, visit the stunning Melbourne Cricket Ground, a cultural icon which one of the most important cricket grounds in the world. Rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own. Day 03 Melbourne – Philip Island (By Road) ( 142 kms / 1 hrs 56 mins appx.)
Proceed to Philip Island. Philip Island lies just off Australia’s southern coast. On arrival visit Pannys Amazing World of Chocolate. All hail the mighty chocolate! That’s the feeling you might get when you tour this chocolate-laced compound. On a tour through “Panny’s Amazing World of Chocolate” you can find art, houses, activities, and games that are made entirely from chocolate. You will even find chocolate spilling down from the world’s largest chocolate waterfall. Later you can opt to visit the Koala Conservation right opposite Pannys.
Also visit Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies Centre and go on a virtual journey to the world’s most extreme continent Antarctica. Be engaged by a hands-on fun and interactive experiences which include feeling the freeze in the Antarctic Chill Zone, comparing a penguin’s thermal image with their own, and selecting a seafood at an interactive dinner table. Later in the evening go watch the Penguin Parade and experience the magic of little penguins in the underground viewing experience. Proceed to This morning take the ferry from Sorrento to Queens cliff (ferry ticket not included). Later visit the Port Campbell National Park, world famous for its extraordinary collection of wave-sculpted rock formations and the Twelve Apostles. You can also enjoy a thrilling helicopter ride above and around the remote beaches, dramatic cliffs and massive limestone stacks of this majestic coastal landscape or you can discover the heritage of the Shipwreck Coast on short walks such as the Port Campbell Discovery Walk. Day 05 Warrnambool – Ballarat (By Road) (170 kms / 2 hrs appx.)
Proceed to Ballarat, Sovereign Hill, Australia’s foremost outdoor museum, Sovereign Hill re-creates, Ballarat’s first ten years after the discovery of gold in 1851 when thousands of international adventurers rushed to the Australian goldfields in search of fortune. If you are brave, try a self-guided underground adventure through the dark, winding tunnels of the Red Hill Mine and re-live the discovery of the famous Welcome Nugget.
