Guinea-Bissau is a tropical country on West Africa’s Atlantic coast that’s known for national parks and wildlife. The forested, sparsely populated Bijagós archipelago is a protected biosphere reserve. Its main island, Bubaque, forms part of the Orango Islands National Park, a habitat for saltwater hippos. On the mainland, the capital, Bissau, is a port with Portuguese colonial buildings in its old city center.

Day 03 Bissau – Quinhamel (B-D) (By Road) (38 Kms / 45 min appx)
After breakfast, drive to Quinhamel, for fishing in the Mar Azul. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Afterwards go on a fishing trip with local fishermen. Enjoy a picnic lunch and return to your hotel. Overnight in Quinhamel
Day 04 Quinhamel – Rubane (B-D) (By Boat)
After breakfast, transfer by private speed boat to the sacred Island of Rubane, one of the 88 Islands and Islets forming the Bijagos Archipelago of Guinea Bissau. Enjoy a tour of Rubane and Bubaque, visiting the market, museum of UICN, radio Dian, and local church. Overnight in Rubane.
Day 05 Rubane – Orango (B-L-D) (By Cruise)
After breakfast, take a cruise to Orango Island. Here, you will discover a unique natural reserve inhabited by Sea Hippos, which live in mangrove salt water and often swim and frolic on the beaches. Overnight in Orango.
Day 06 Orango-Rubane (B-L-D) (By Cruise)
After breakfast, go on a fishing trip for the day. Enjoy a picnic lunch and return to Rubane.Time permitting witness a traditional dance by local performers. Overnight in Rubane.
Day 07 Rubane – Bissau (By Road) / Depart Bissau (By Flight)
After breakfast, checkout of your hotel and Transfer to the airport for onward Journey.
