São Tomé and Príncipe, an African island nation close to the equator, is part of a volcano chain featuring striking rock and coral formations, rainforests and beaches. On the larger island, São Tomé, is the Lagoa Azul lagoon. Ôbo Natural Park, a biodiverse jungle preserve, covers much of São Tomé and is distinguished by Pico Cão Grande, a skyscraperlike volcanic rock.
Day 01: São Tomé
Arrive Sao Tome meet and assist at the airport and transfer to Hotel.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02: Bom Sucesso
A full day excursion exploring the countryside. Drive to Bom Sucesso and hike to Lagoa Ameliia. Afterword , drive to the Cascada de San Nicolau and the Roca Saudad Alemeda Negreiro for lunch.Continue to Trinidad and explore the pretty town on foot , then rrturn to Sao Tomefor a city tour.

Day 03: Sao Joao dos Angolares
Drive south to the castal village of Soa Joao dos Angolares. On the way visit the colonial era hospital ar Agua Eize and the fishingvillge of Ribeira Afonse. The journey takes you into the heart of the Caue District at the extreme south of the island. Where the road endsand onward travel is difficult.
Overnight in Plantation house.
Day 04: Sao Joao dos Angolares
Day free to explore the area take walk in the hills and swim from the black sand beaches.
Overnight in Hotel.
Day 05: Porto Alegre – Praia Inhame
Drive to the far south of the island and the stunning wild beaches of Porto Alegre. Then comtiue to Praia Ihame. Hike around the coastline, surrounded by rainforest. In the evening head to Praia Piscina and Praia Jade to wait for turtles to emerge from the ocean and lay their eggs nearby.

Day 06: Rolas Island
Boat tip to Rolas Island off the south coast of Sao Tome. Walk to the equator line, have a traditional lunch in the village and swim in clear blue waters from beautiful beaches. Return to Praia Inhame.

Days 07: Mucumbli
Travel by boat along the west coast of Sao Tome, arrive at Mucmbli arounf Lunch. Afternoon free for own activity.

Day 08: Obo National Park
A full day excursion hiking in the primary forest of Obo National Park, looking for endemic plants and birds. You will also pass by a pretty waterfall and see old plantation house on your route.
Overnight in hotel.
Day 09: Mucumbli
Visit a local caco co-operative to see how this is grown and processed for chocolate – caco is one of the island’s main exports and integral to its economy. Afternoon free to explore on own.
Overnight in Hotel.
Day 10: Sao Tome
Travel overland to the north coast of the island. Walk around the Blue Lake and continue to Morro Peixe beach with opportunities to swim and look for birdlife. Continue to Sao Tome and transfer to Airport to catch the flight for onward Journey.
