Day 01 Arrive Ahmedabad (By Flight)
On arrival, welcome with fresh flower garlands.
Meet assist and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Ahmedabad.
Ahmedabad, also known as Amdavad is the second largest city of west India and the largest city in Gujarat. Ahmedabad was also the former state capital of Gujarat. Ahmed Shah I founded this city on the banks of the Sabarmati river in 1411 and thus named as Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is also known for its association with the Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation and is one of the India’s foremost industrial centres. It is a place where tradition and modernity co-exist in perfect harmony.
Day 02 Ahmedabad – Jambhugodha (By Road) (190 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Jambhugodha.
Upon arrival transfer to your Hotel.
Evening visit the Village. Overnight at Jambhugodha.
Jambughoda is a 20 km from Champaner A UNESCO World Heritage Site and best point to stay while visiting Champaner, Jambughoda is a base point to visit Bhilala and Bayaka tribal villages.
Day 03 Jambhugodha–Chotta Udaipur–Jhambhugodha (55 Km/1 hr-One Way)
After breakfast, full day visit the Chotta Udaipur to see various colorful tribal belts which is very unique of Gujarat Traditional and cultural living style.
Evening Return to Jhambhugodha. Overnight in Jhambhugodha.
Chhota Udaipur district is a district in the state of Gujarat in India. It was carved out of the Vadodara.
Kali Temple -The Kali Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kali and is worshipped by the royal family.
Jain Derasar -The Jain Derasar is a typical example of plaster-decorated buildings of Gujarat, imitating woodcarvings and figurines in plasterwrk, showing the influence of Victorian art. The arcades, with decorated pillars, the figures with musical instruments, ther dressing, headgears and hairstyles painted in an unconventional manner with bright colours, make a beautiful composition.
Kusum Vilas Palace -The Kusum Vilas Palace was designed by a famous architectural firm of Bombay – Bhatkar & Bhatkar in the early 1920. The design concept was to create a palace in a harmonious fusion of the architectural style of Champaner with modern amenities of an elevator and other functional requirements. A large porch, arcaded facade and balanced architectural treatment of the 5 storeyed central wing with receding volume, capped with a dome lends majesty to the palace. The interiors are a blend of east and west. The carved plasters, friezes gilded with real gold are the replicas of the such architectural elements at Champaner. The British made elevator has a foyer at ground level, enclosed by the series of exquisitely carved stone jalis bringing in a etheral light effect. The grand reception room on ground floor has large doors, a carved false ceiling, French furniture, Belgian mirrors and superb Italian marble statues. The wall paintings by an Indian artist, depicting the picturesque settings at Chhota Udepur and previous capital Mohan are most remarkable.
Prem Bhavan Palace -The Prem Bhavan Palace is located in the same palace campus of Kusum Vilas Palace and has now been converted into a heritage hotel. This hotel offers excellent accommodation, food and package tours to nearby interesting places.
Day 04 Jhambhugodha – Champaner – Uthelia (By Road) (175 Kms. / 4.5 hrs)
After Breakfast, drive to Uthelia via Champaner, A World Heritage site declared as one of the hundred endangered architectural monument of the World.
Evening arrival of Uthelia. Overnight at Uthelia.
At Champaner, one can see three fortifications – the base Champaner, the top Pavagadh and the area connecting both of them Machi. The lower fortification is the citadel or the Champaner fort. The major mosques in Champaner are Shehar ki Masjid, Jami Masjid, Kewada Masjid and Nagina Masjid. In Kewda Masjid, you can walk up the narrow stairs to the rooftop, with the globe like domes, as rounded as fruit and even further up the minarets for great views.
Day 05 Uthelia – Lothal (By Road) (108 Kms. / 2 hrs 45 mins. Appx.)
After Breakfast, Visit the Harrappen Era located at Lothal.
After the visit proceeds to Bhavnagar an Historical city.
Evening visit the Museum and the local Bazaar.
Overnight at Bhavnagar.
Lothal is situated about 85 kms. southwest of Ahmedabad. This important archaeological site was discovered in 1954. The city that stood here 4500 years ago is clearly related to the Indus Valley cities of Mohenjodaro and Harappa, both in Pakistan. It has the same neat street pattern, carefully assembled, neat brickwork and scientific drainage system. Lothal means mound of the dead in Gujarati.
The two important tourist attractions in Bhavnagar are the Takhteshwar Temple and Gandhi Smriti and Barton museum. The Takhteshwar Temple is located on a small hillock which provide good views over the city and the Gulf of Cambay. The Gandhi Smriti and Barton Museum is located in the northeast, by the clock tower and has a good collection of Gandhi memorabilia.
Day 06 Bhavnagar–Palitana–Bhavnagar (By Road) (57 Km/ 1.5 hrs- One Way)
Early Morning 05:00 Hrs Drive to Paliatna, Visit Shetrunjaya Hill, 2000 ft. near Palitana town, has 863 temples with arches, carved pillars & bejeweled idols, ranging from the 11th – 20th century.
Later afternoon, Return to Bhavnagar for Overnight.
The Shatrunjaya Hill is located at a height of 591 metres. The Shatrunjaya Temple is the most sacred temple of the Jains and one of the largest of its kind in India. There is a stunning view from the top of the hill and the air is filled with the scent of the jasmine trees. On a clear day, you can also see the Gulf of Cambay. All the temples are enriched with gold, silver and jewels donated by rich merchants.
The first and finest temple that you will visit is dedicated to Shri Adishwar, one of the most important Jain Tirthankars. This temple is one of the most magnificent and sacred temple of the Jains community.
The Khartaravasi Tuk is the largest and highest of the temples along the north ridge and includes the Adinath or Chaumukh or four-faced temple. The Adinath temple is the biggest temple located on the hill. This temple was built by a wealthy merchant in 1618 to save his soul. This temple has an image of Adinath which face out in the four cardinal directions. There are quadruple Tirthankara images inside the sanctuary over which rises a slender tower. Besides these, there are various other temples like Kumar Pal, Vimal Shah and Sampriti Raj, named after the wealthy Jain merchants.
Day 07 Bhavnagar – Gondal (By Road) (180 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
After breakfast drive to Gondal.
Afternoon arrival at Gondal. Overnight at Gondal.

Evening visit the Naulakha palace The oldest extend palace in gondal, the 17th century Naulakha palace is a festival of stone carvings with exquisite Jarokha Balconies, Visit the Royal Family Vintage car collection, have an extensive collection of Vintage and classic cars including a 1910 new engine, a delage and a Daimler from the 1920s, a 1935 mercedes, 1935 packard 2 door convertible, 1941 & 1947 cadillac, 1955 cadillac limousine, jaguar xk 150, Chevrolet Etc. Most of these cars are restored and some bear the original gondal State number plates.
Day 08 Gondal – Rajkot – Wankaner (By Road) (95 Kms. / 2.5 hrs appx.)
After Breakfast Drive to Wanakner on way visit Rajkot including the Watson Museum, Rashtriya Shala to see the weaving cloths and local Rajkot City.
Afternoon arrival at Wanakner enjoy visiting the Palace Museum and local Village.
Overnight at Wankaner.
Watson Museum and Library commemorates the work of Colonel John Watson, political agent from 1886 to 1889. It is a jumbled attic of the collection with the 3rd century inscriptions and a delicate ivory work overseen by a marble statue of Queen Victoria. The Watson Museum has collection of precious objects of colonial period, human history and culture, and History of Rajkot.
Rashtriya Shala was of Mahatma Gandhi, who has founded a center of weaving Patola.
Jagat Mandir is beautiful carved temple of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa. It is made of red stones.
Wankaner is snuggled in Rajkot district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The region got its name from the location at a “Wanka” meaning bend and “Ner” a river. Wankaner used to be a princely state that was ruled by the Jhala Rajputs and is thus also called Jhalawar. The royal family of Wankaner was highly known for their patronage of art and architecture.
Ranjit Vilas Palace is an architectural wonder inspired from the style of architecture of the Mughal, Gothic, Dutch and Victorian style of architecture. The beautiful palace with a watchtower situated atop a hill. Overlooking the Wankaner Town, the palace is sprawled across a total area of 225 acres. The palace also houses a guest-house called Chandra Bhavan. The palace showcases an array of antique weapons such as swords, daggers and shields as well as stuffed animals, vintage cars, paintings and so on.
Wankaner Palace is a beauteous and historical palace that was erected in the 20th century under the reign of H.H. Amarsinhji, the Maharaja of Wankaner. The palace is adorned with decorative doors, antique chairs, mirrors and windows.
Shah bava Dargah is made in honor of Shahbava one among the three founders of the region. It is one of the highly revered religious attractions in Wankaner among Muslim and Hindus.
Day 09 Wankaner – Ahmedabad (By Road) (220 Kms. / 4.5 hrs. appx.)
After breakfast, drive to Ahmedabad.
Later afternoon half day sightseeing of Ahmedabad.
Overnight at Ahmedabad.
The various tourist attractions in Ahmedabad are the Jama Masjid, Sidi Bashir Mosque, Sabarmati Ashram, Sidi Saiyad’s Mosque, Hathee Singh Temple and Jama Masjid was built in 1423 AD by Ahmad Shah and was also described as the most beautiful mosque in India. Sidi Bashir mosque is known for the world famous shaking minarets. If one of the minaret is shaken, the other minaret also get shaken thus regarded as one of the architectural wonders. Hathee Singh Jain temple is dedicated to Dharamanath, the 15th Jina or Jain apposite. This temple is one of the best ornated Jain temples in Ahmedabad and is built of pure white marble.
