Day 01 Arrive Delhi (By Flight)
Arrival at Delhi International Airport, meet and assist, welcome with fresh flower garland and transfer to Hotel.
After breakfast full day city tour of Delhi.
Delhi – India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind. The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British & the Moghuls respectively. Tourist Attractions: Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, Chandni Chowk and Rajghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. The Lakshmi Narayan Temple or the Birla Temple as it is popularly known enshrines Lord Vishnu – the preserver of the Hindu Trinity. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament, Qutab Minar – Qutubuddin Aibak laid the foundation of Qutab Minar, as a victory tower, in 1199 AD.

After breakfast full day city tour of Jaipur including elephant / jeep ride at Amber Fort. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Jaipur the vibrant capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the ‘ Pink City ‘ because of the pink-coloured buildings in its old city. It sits on a dry lake bed in a somewhat arid landscape, surrounded by barren hills surmounted by forts and crenellated walls.
Amber Fort – Amber is located at a distance of 11 kilometers from Jaipur and was the old fort of the Kachhwaha clan of Amber, which used to be the capital, till it was moved to Jaipur. The construction of the Amber Fort began in the year 1592 and was started by Man Singh I, but it was finished by his descendant Jai Singh.
City palace The City Palace was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of the Kachhwaha clan of Rajputs, but a lot of changes and additions were made to the original structure by his successors. The architecture of the City Palace is a synthesis of Rajasthani and Mughal styles.
Jantar Mantar The Jaipur observatory was built in 1728. There is actually a fascinating story in relation to the construction of the Observatory. According to the story, Sawai Jai Singh II sent his envoys to various parts of the world. The observatory has the Jaiprakash Yantra, Samrat Yantra, Ram Yantra and the Composite instrument, which comprises of a sundial and a massive hemisphere.
Hawa Mahal The palace is shaped like a pyramid and is a five-storied building, with number of small windows and screens, with arched roofs. As one looks at this building, one realizes that the rear side of the building is comparatively very plain and lacks much of ornamentation. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 04 Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (By Surface) (237 kms & 05 hrs approx)
After breakfast drive towards Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri – Built in red sandstone, the historic city of Fatehpur Sikri conceptualized by Akbar the Great, is one of the brilliant examples of architectural creations. One of the favorite tourist attractions in India, Fatehpur Sikri was completed in 1578, and built in honor of the Sufi Saint, Sheikh Salim Chishti by offering prayers to whom Akbar could fulfill his desire of a male. Strongly speaking of the religious tolerance of Akbar, the architecture of Fatehpur Sikri depicts a healthy blend of Hindu and Islamic styles of architecture.
Diwan-I-Am: Diwan-I-Am or the Hall Of Public Audience was used for the public meetings, as was the practice in Mughal empires. All the celebrations and public prayers were conducted here.
Diwan-Khana: This enclosure that is Hall of Private Audience was used for private and special meetings. It was beautifully designed.
Salim Chisti’s Tomb: Fatehpur Sikri in India Tomb of religious leader Sheikh Salim Chisti is surrounded by marbles, geometric work screens and the canopy above is inlaid with mother-of-Pearl. This holy place is worshiped by both Hindus and Muslims. The architectural wonder of Mughal era is a must visit tourist point in Fatehpur Sikri.

Day 05 Agra
After breakfast full day city tour of Agra. Overnight in Agra.
Agra -Historians suggest Agra to be the Agravana in the epic Mahabharata. It is expected to be known as Agralapura during the medieval age. An archaeological fact pushes the existence of Agra back to three million years. The Lodi dynasty ruled over Agra for a long time. It was in the onset of the sixteenth century that the Mughals took over the ruling of Agra from the hands of Lodi’s.
Taj Mahal Shah Jahan the great emperor and a great builder constructed Taj Mahal in the loving memory of his beloved wife Anjuman Bano Begum. Shah Jahan met this beautiful girl in his young age and later gets married with her. Taj Mahal completed in 1653 A.D. finished in by white marble, it is perhaps India most fascinating and beautiful monument. Not only is it recognized in just India but also all over the world. These perfectly symmetrical monuments took 22 years (1630-1652) of hard labor and 20,000 workers.
Red Fort – The construction of the Agra fort was started around 1565 when the initial structures were built by Akbar. Shah Jahan replaced most of these with his marble creations. Some however survived, among them are – Delhi Gate, Amar Singh Gate, Akbari Mahal and the Jehangir Mahal. The fort is crescent shaped, flattened on the east with a long, nearly straight wall facing the river.
Itimad Ud Daulah tomb- The first example of a tomb built on a riverbank in India, the Itimad Ud Daulah tomb houses the body of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father Mughal Empress Noor Jahan who again was Emperor Jahangir’s wife. This beautiful tomb situated on the banks of the Yamuna is also known as the ‘baby Taj’. Built around 1625 AD. Overnight in Agra.
Day 06 Agra – Delhi (By Surface) (205 Km/ 4 hrs) / Delhi–Kolkatta (By Fly)
After breakfast drive to Delhi on arrival transfer to Airport to catch flight to Kilkatta , Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Evening free to walk nearby place. Overnight in Kolkatta.
Day 07 Kolkatta
After breakfast city tour of Kolkatta. Visiting Dalhousie Square (Covering Raj Bhavan, St. John’s Church, High Court, GPO, Town Hall, Writer’s Building and other important colonial buildings), Flower Market, Howrah Bridge, Kumhartoli (The Potter’s Village), Marble Palace, Indian Museum, St. Paul’s Cathedral Church & Victoria Memorial. The Heritage tour will give insight in to the historical aspect of old Calcutta. This square has many old historic buildings, to name a few – Silver Mint (1824-31) built in Greek style is presently in a dilapidated condition, The Writers Building – designed by Thomas Lyon as a trading house for East India Company in 1780 has 57 sets of identical windows on 3 storeys built like a barrack inside. The Old Mission Church, built by Swedish missionary Johann Kiernander was consecrated in 1770, General Post Office designed by Walter Granville in 1868 has a white dome and Corinthian pillars, The Raj Bhawan, once a residence of British Governors-General and Viceroys, it is now the home of Governor of West Bengal, next to it is the most important Gothic building of Kolkata – the Calcutta High Court, built in 1872. The Pareshnath Jain Temple is an ornate Digambar Jain temple built in central Indian Style in 1867 by a jeweller. The interior is richly decorated in European baroque and Italianate styles with mirrors and Venetian glass mosaics. The gardens have formal geometric flower beds.
Belur Math was founded in 1899 by Swami Vivekanand, a disciple of Saint Ramakrishna. It is presently the international headquarters of Ramakrishna Mission and preaches the unity of all religions. Symbolizing the belief of “Math” (monastery) it has Hindu, Christian and Islamic style of architecture.
Visit to the Ninth oldest regular Museum of the world, Indian Museum, Kolkata. It was established in the year 1814 at the Asiatic Society and was transferred to the present site in 1878. It has over sixty galleries of Art, Archaeology, Anthropology, Geology, Zoology and Botany sections, spreading over 10000 sq. feet area. Many rare specimens both Indian and Trans – Indian origin relating to Humanities and Natural Science are preserved and displayed in the galleries of these sections. It has a collection of more than 50,000 coins of Gold, Silver and other metals. It also has a mummy in its Egyptian section.
In the afternoon visit the Victoria Memorial – a gift by Lord Curzon to Queen Victoria in honor of her commemoration and as a symbol of her Indian Empire. It has been designed in Italian Renaissance-Mughal style and built in White Marble in 1921 and has many galleries with over 3000 exhibits. At the entrance it has an impressive ‘weather vane’ in form of a 5mt tall bronze figure of Victory, weighing over 3 tons. Overnight in Kolkatta.
Day 08 Kolkatta – Chennai (By Flight)
Morning transfer to airport to catch flight to Chennai on arrival meet and assist transfer to Hotel.

Capital of the southeastern state of Tamil Nadu, Chennai is one of the four major metropolitan cities in India. The city also has its share of forts and palaces reminding the tourists the glory of bygone eras. Chennai was developed as a British trading post, and as such, most of its attractions have a distinct colonial influence. Stretched over an area of 13 km, Marina Beach is the second longest beach in the world. The ST. GEORGE FORT, built in 1653, is currently used as the state government/’s secretariat. SAN THOME Cathedral was built around 14th/15th century and is another colonial structure worth visiting. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the KAPALESHWAR TEMPLE is the oldest temple in Chennai. Day 09 Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mammalapuram – Chennai (198 Km/ 5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to visit Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram and return back to hotel.
Mahabalipuram: The temple town of Mahabalipuram is famous for its various temples and other attractive features. This 7th century city of the Pallavas is considered pioneer in the Dravidian architectural style. The city was earlier called Mallapuram and was a famous trading port of Pallavas. During your Mahabalipuram tour, you will come across many interesting tourism spots. Some of the best ones are as follows.
Arjuna’s Penance – Arjuna’s Penance is the pride of not only Mahabalipuram and Tamilnadu but also of India. Arjuna’s Penance is the world’s largest bas-relief that measures 27 meters and 9 meters along its length and breadth respectively. This huge whaleback shaped rock contains figures of Gods, Demigods, Men, Beasts and Birds. The whole structure looks like the penance of Arjuna, the Pandava prince and one of the protagonists of Indian epic Mahabharata; hence the name.
Five Rathas – Five Rathas are the one of the most magnificent tourist attractions at Mahabalipuram Beaches. Five Rathas are actually five monolithic temples, each created in a different style. They are modeled around chariots that are called ‘Rathas’ in Hindi. They are also known as the ‘Pancha Pandava Rathas’, which means that each one of them represent 5 Pandavas, the protagonists of Indian epic Mahabharata..
Dakshinachitra – A must visit site on the Mahabalipuram beach is Dakshinachitra, a heritage village that is the brainchild of the Ministry of Culture. The village falls to your left when you start moving from Chennai to Mahabalipuram.
Shore Temples – Shore Temple is one of the oldest temples in South India and the oldest one based on the Dravidian style architecture. It belongs to the early 8th century AD and is considered a pioneer in the Dravidian temple art. The monuments are floodlit at night in order to make it visible in the night. Kanchipuram: Situated in the northern part of Tamil Nadu, Kanchipuram is the city of thousand temples and one of the seven most sacred pilgrim centres for the Hindus. Tourist Attractions: The Ekambaranathar Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple, Varadaraja Temple, Kailasanathar Temple and the Kamakshi Amman Temple. Overnight in Chennai.
Day 10 Chennai – Mumbai (By Flight)
After breakfast transfer to airport to catch the flight for Mumbai meet and asistt and transfer to hotel

After Breakfast, Proceed to sightseeing tour of Elephanta,Caves,away from the ‘Gateway of India’ on an island. Board the motor boat and ride towards the island. Built in the 7th century, Elephanta Caves are a group of rock-cut caves dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the afternoon, explore other tourist attractions in Mumbai which include the Prince of Wales Museum. Overnight at hotel
