The Land of the Legends
Gujarat, the Land of the Legends, is the birthplace of many Freedom fighters like the legendary Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and many others who fought the freedom struggle, infusing the qualities of tolerance, brotherhood, non-violence and patriotism into Indians.

Day 01 Arrive Ahmedabad (By Flight)
On arrival at Airport, welcome with fresh flower garlands.
Meet assist and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Ahmedabad, also known as Amdavad is the second largest city of west India and the largest city in Gujarat. Ahmedabad was also the former state capital of Gujarat. Ahmed Shah I founded this city on the banks of the Sabarmati river in 1411 and thus named as Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is also known for its association with the Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation and is one of the India’s foremost industrial centres. It is a place where tradition and modernity co-exist in perfect harmony.

Day 02 Ahmedabad
After breakfast, full day Visit to Ahmedabad visiting Gandhi Ashram, Hathisingh Jain Temples, Adalaj Stepwell and Akshardham Temple at Gandhinagar.
Overnight at Hotel.

Sabarmati Ashram – also known as Gandhi Ashram, Harijan Ashram, or Satyagraha Ashram is located in the Sabarmati suburb of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, adjoining the Ashram Road, on the banks of the River Sabarmati, four miles from the town hall. This was one of the residences of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, generally called Mahatma Gandhi, who lived there for about twelve years along with his wife, Kasturba Gandhi.

Hathisingh Jain Temple – Was established in 1850 by Seth Hathisingh, who was a rich Jain merchant. This temple is dedicated to the 15th ‘Jain Tirthankar’, known as Dharamnath. The temple is made using white marble, which is adorned with intricately designed carvings.

Adalaj Stepwell – is a unique Hindu ‘water building’ in the village of Adalaj, close to Ahmedabad town in Gandhinagar district in the Indian state of Gujarat.

Afternoon visit Akshardham temple in Gandhinagar is one of the largest and most prominent temples in the entire state of Gujarat. Located in Gandhinagar city, the famous Akshardham temple is a place, which consists of a number of things under one roof like art, education, architecture, exhibitions and research. It is truly an architectural masterpiece.

Day 03 Ahmedabad – Rajkot (By Road) (220 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
After breakfast drive to Rajkot.
On the way visit Virpur Temple.
Evening arrival at Rajkot and check in at Hotel.
Overnight at Hotel.

The beautiful city of Rajkot is located on the banks of the Aji River and Nyari River. Rajkot is well-known for its royal living. The city is also famous for its handicrafts and silver jewellery. It is the fourth largest city in Gujarat. Rajkot is a multicultural city and is a part of Kathiyawad and people of Rajkot are famous as Kathiyawadi’s.

Watson Museum – The Watson Museum and Library commemorates the work of Colonel John Watson, political agent from 1886 to 1889. It is a jumbled attic of the collection with the 3rd century inscriptions and a delicate ivory work overseen by a marble statue of Queen Victoria

Rashtriya Shala – Rashtriya Shala was founded by Mahatma Gandhi which has a center of patola weaving.

Jagat Mandir – Jagat Mandir is beautiful carved temple of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa. It is made of red stones.

Lal Pari Lake and Randerda -Lal Pari Lake and Randerda is a picturesque picnic spot, situated about 5 kms. from Rajkot

Day 04 Rajkot – Somnath (By Road) (189 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
Morning drive to Somnath. Check in at Hotel.
Note : Hotel is very basic & budget hotel hence just expect the basic amenities.
Evening 03 PM Darshan at Somnath 10 kms drive. Return to Hotel and Overnight.

Somnath temple, the first in the twelve jyothirlingas, is located at the Viraval port – Prabhas Pattan in Saurashtra – Gujarat. Chandra, moon was the first one to receive the benefic boon of Shri Somanath of Saurashtra, the Shiva pilgrimage, Agni Teerth and Surya Teerth. Then Chandra built a beautiful golden temple and put a glorious JyotirLinga in it, the first of its kind in India.

Day 05 Somnath – Porbandar – Dwarka (By Road) (230 Kms. / 4.5 hrs. appx.)
After breakfast drive to Dwarka. On the way visit of Porbander, Gandhiji’s home , Kirti Mandir etc.
Evening arrival at Dwarka & Check in Hotel.

Overnight at Hotel.

Porbandar, the coastal heritage town of Gujarat is located on the Saurashtra peninsula, on the Arabian Sea.

Kirti Mandir – Kirti Mandir was the house of the Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba, his wife. This place is situated near the place where the Mahatma Gandhi was born. This place is now a small museum and also has a Gandhian library and a prayer hall.

Dwarkadhish Temple / Jagat Mandir – Dwaraka is known all over the world for the Dwarkadhish temple, the ‘Lord of Dwarka’. This temple is also known as the Jagat Mandir or the temple of the world. This temple was constructed over 1400 years ago and houses the image of Lord Krishna. This temple is one of the most famous pilgrimage place for the Hindus and attracts pilgrims from all over the world.

Day 06 Dwarka
Fullday visit of Dwarka & Bed Dwarka.
Overnight at Hotel.

Dwaraka is located on the extreme western end of Kathiawar peninsula, where the River Gomti meets the Arabian Sea. Dwaraka is one of the four most important holy places of the Hindus and attracts tourists from all over the world. The Lord Krishna also established his capital at Dwaraka after he left Mathura. The importance, foundation, planning and glory of Dwaraka as the golden city is described in various Hindu epics like Mahabharata, Harivamsha, Sijupdlavadha, Bhagvad Gita, Skand Purana, Vishnu Purana and Mahabharat. The architecture of the old Dwaraka city was majestic and wonderful.

Beyt Dwaraka -A pilgrimage to Dwaraka is not complete until a visit has been made to the Beyt Dwaraka. It is a Hindu temple on the island off the coast. The temple dates from the 19th century and contains a series of shrines and images of Krishna and his 56 consorts. The archaeological excavations have revealed Harappan artifacts dating from the 2nd millennium BC.

Okha -Okha is a small port at the head of the Gulf of Kutch and is about 30 kms north of Dwaraka. The island nearby is connected with the legend of Vishnu slaying the demon.

Day 07 Dwarka – Jamnagar (By Road) (131 Kms. / 2.5 hrs. appx.)
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Jamnagar.
On arrival, city tour of Jamnagar. Overnight in Jamnagar.

Jamnagar the Jewel of Kathiawar, is on the coast of Gulf of Kutch in the state of Gujarat, India. It has unspoilt Islands & Beaches, Hills, Temples, Palaces, Forest, Fantastic Bird life in the Bird Sanctuary & Marine Sanctuaries and Facinating Corals and Marine Life in the Marine National Park

The Marine National Park & Sanctuary has coral reefs, mangroves, sea-grass beds, mudflats, network of creeks and other ecosystems which supports rich marine life & bird life. Here one has chance to spot octopus, puffer fish, sea turtles, lobsters, crabs, dolphins, ray fishes, jelly fish, star fish, sea anemones, colourful corals, exotic marine flowering plants, etc.

Khajadia Bird Park’ in Jamnagar is a hot spot for the tourists. Flaming bright colors of birds and a cool breeze of air, makes this place an Ornithologist’s paradise.

Day 08 Jamnagar – Mumbai (By Flight)
After breakfast, drive to Jamnagar Airport to connect flight to Mumbai.
On arrival, meet assist and Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Mumbai is a cluster of seven islands and derives its name from Mumbadevi, the patron goddess of the koli fisher folk, its oldest inhabitants. Mumbai pulsates with activity. It is a city that is disciplined by no time frame neither day nor night. Mumbai is also the country´s financial powerhouse, the nation´s industrial heartland, and its economic nerve center. Mumbai houses dazzling shopping arcades, exciting sport activities, night clubs & discotheques, theater & music, gourmet restaurants and interesting sightseeing. Mumbai offers visitors a heady mix of all this and more.

Day 09 Mumbai
In the morning after breakfast, full day city tour of Mumbai.
Overnight in Mumbai.

Gateway of India- the Gateway of India is the main attraction of Mumbai city. It was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar in 1911. Situated at the Apollo Bunder, the gateway holds greater historical significance as the last of the British troops that left India by sea, marched through its portals.

Prince of Wales Museum -The Prince of Wales museum is another major attraction of Mumbai. Built in the year 1914, it is surrounded by a beautiful landscape forming an ideal getaway for the people of Mumbai. The museum houses art, sculpture, rare coins, and old firearms and a priceless collection of miniature paintings.

Marine Drive- A stroll down the Marine Drive is the best way to discover Mumbai. This winding stretch of road with tall buildings on one side and sea on the other extends from Nariman Point to Malabar Hills. Due to its curved shape and many street lights, it was once called the Queen’s Necklace

Hanging Gardens – The Hanging Gardens makes another must see site in Mumbai. The park was built during the early 1880s over Mumbai’s main reservoir at the top of the Malabar Hills. The reason of its location being to cover the water from the potentially contaminating activity of the nearby Towers of Silence.

Day 10 Depart Mumbai (By Flight)
Transfer to the airport for flight back home.
