Takayama is a city in Japan’s mountainous Gifu Prefecture. The narrow streets of its Sanmachi Suji historic district are lined with wooden merchants’ houses dating to the Edo Period, along with many small museums. The city is famed for its biannual Takayama Festival, going back to at least the mid-1600s, celebrating spring and fall with parades featuring ornate, gilded floats and puppet shows.
Day 01 Arrive Narita / Narita – Tokyo
Arrival Narita International Airport and transfer to Tokyo City Hotel. Meet assist and transfer to you at the custom exit in boarding reserved taxi by himself to the Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Tokyo
After Breakfast, Proceed to Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (is the gathering point for all SIC departure). visit Tokyo Tower , Imperial Palace Plaza, Sensoji Temple /Nakamise Shopping Street, Drive by Ueno and Akihabara. The Tour will end upon arrival at Tokyo station/Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Tokyo–Mt.Fuji (By Train) / Mt.Fuji–Hakone (By Road) (60 km/02 hrs)
After Breakfast, Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (is the gathering point for all SIC departure) and Visit Mt.Fuji 5th Station. After Lunch transfer by coach to Kojiri ship Lake Ashi Cruise, Hakone-en to Mt Komagatake by Ropeway. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Hakone – Takayama (By Train)
After Breakfast, Transfer by reserved taxi to Odawara station to board bullet train to Nagoya station(Kodama/140min)Upon arrival Nagoya station by Limited express Hida 150 min to Takayama Station and walk to Yatai Kaikan Hall, Kusakabe Folk Museum, Kami Sannomachi Town. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Takayama – Shirakawago – Kanazawa (By Road) (100 kms / 2 hrs)
After Breakfast, Proceed to Takayama Morning Market and by coach to Shirakawa-go. Shirakawa-go Observatory / Wada Residence Japanese-Style Lunch. After lunch transfer by coach to Hotel Kanazawa. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Kanazawa – Kyoto (By Train)
After Breakfast, Transfer by coach to Nagamachi Samurai District /Former Samurai Residence. By coach to Kenrokuen Garden, Higashi-chaya District , Hakuza (Gold leaf shop)Transfer by coach to Kanazawa Station to take Limited Express Thunderbird train (145min) to Kyoto StationUpon arrival Kyoto station by reserved taxi to Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Kyoto
After Breakfast, Proceed to transfer by coach to Nijo Castle, Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), Kyoto Imperial Palace( visiting except on Mondays), Kitano-tenmangu Shrine (visiting on Mondays) Japanese/Western Buffet Lunch Transfer by coach to Heian Jingu Shrine, Sanjusangendo Temple, Kiyomizu temple Overnight at hotel. Departure transfer to onward destination.
Day 8 Kyoto – Kansai (By Road) (78 kms / 01 hrs 10 min) / Depart Kansai
