Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Dong Xuan Market, selling household goods and street food.
Day 01 Arrive Hanoi
Arrival at Hanoi airport meet assist and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Hanoi
After breakfast, Proceed to city tour of Hanoi capital. Visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 – the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. We then continue on to the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist – dating from the Ly Dynasty) and the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on the West lake (One of the oldest pagoda in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang pottery village (apply on Mon, Wed & Fri). Afternoon proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. We’ll also see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. For the last part of the tour we’ll journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Tour ends around 15h30 – 16h00. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Hanoi – Halong Bay (By Road) (160 kms / 03 hrs 30 min appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to Halong Baycity. On arrival Embark on V’Spirit Classic Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. Savor a delectable lunch as V’Spirit Classic cruises among the limestone island Cruising to Titov island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Titov or climb up to the top of the island for a panorama view of Halong BayBay. Return to the main boat and continue cruising to the quite area while enjoy beautiful seascape on the way. Watch the fruit carving demonstration and participate in the Cooking Class. Enjoy Sunset Party on sundeck and admire the best moments of the day when the sun starts to set. Dinner is served. Socialize with other guests, take part in board games, fish for squid, or just laze around. Overnight on V’Spirit Cruise.
Day 04 Halong Bay– Hanoi (By Road) (160 kms / 03 hrs 30 min appx.)
After breakfast, Proceed to In the morning start the day with Tai Chi exercises or a photo hunt. Later breakfast on board and enjoy the peaceful morning of Halong BayBay. Explore the amazing Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong BayBay. Return to the boat. Freshen up and check out of your cabin. Continue cruise exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more. After lunch disembark V’Spirit Classic. Later transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Hanoi– Tam Coc – Hanoi (By Road) (132 km/ 02 hrs 30 min-One Way)
After breakfast, Proceed to Tam Coc. En route visit Hoa Lu. Which is the historic capital of Viet Nam and the famous ancient temples of Le and The Dinh Dynasties. Later transfer to Tam Coc for enjoy boat trip to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. After Tam Coc visit drive back to Hanoi. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Depart Hanoi
Departure transfer to onward destination.
