The diversification not only lies in religion, language but also in culture, costumes and traditions. The ikat or the sambalpuri sarees are worldwide famous for its intricate designs. The ability to dye the design properly was key and involved multiple skills: precision, mathematical calculations and artistry which is well practiced by textile weavers for decades now.

Day 01 Arrive Bhubaneshwar (By Flight)
Arrival at Bhubaneswar airport, meet & Greet, transfer to hotel. Pm visit to temples of Bhubaneswar: Rajarani Temple, Mukteswar Temple, Lingaraj Temple, Vaital Tample.
Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
Day 02 Bhubaneshwar – Konark – Puri (By Road) (108 Kms. / 3H 10M)
Morning transfer to 13th century Konark Sun temple, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the architectural skills & exquisite carvings are unique in nature. After lunch visit Raghurajpur Heritage Village ( Craft-men Village), where entire community is busy in making Patta Chitra (Miniature Paintings) on small cotton cloth driven by religious themes & stories.Evening at Puri Local market, experience papier mache & Shell works at local shop near Jagannath Temple.

Day 03 Puri – Cuttack (By Road) (82 Kms. / 2H 10M appx.)
Morning drive to Pipli Village: the Applique village of India, best known for gorgeous appliqu work. The appliqu works is a traditional way of patching cloth design & the local language is called ?Chandua?.Then visit Itipur, near Dhauli, this is the little village where villagers makes beautiful stone sculptures. Then Transfer to Cuttack, the past capital of Odisha to witness the Silver filigree work (Tarakasi ).

Day 04 Cuttack – Anugul (By Road) (113 Kms. / 3H 10M appx.)
Morning visit Nuapatana textile village, the village has a distinct place in the map of Indian textiles, their TIE & DYE patterns popularly known as ?IKAT?. Then visit Maniabandha Textile village. Evening visit to Sadeibareni Dhokra craft village, at this village all craftsmen uses indigenous method of brass metal. Overnight at Anugul.
Day 05 Anugul – Balangir (By Road) (214 Kms. / 5H 10M appx.)
AM transfer to Balangir, drive to Sagarpalli weaving factory of Silk & Cotton, experience the traditional design, development, processing, talk to weavers. Then drive to Sonepur to visit master craftsmen to sea dying process, ingredients, different fabrics pattern & pocket looms etc.

Day 06 Balangir – Sambalpur (By Road) (125 Kms. / 3H 10M appx.)
Drive to Barpali, the village of Tassar Silk & Cotton weavers. These sarees are known for their incorporation of traditional motifs like Shankha ( Shell), Chakra ( Wheel), Phula ( Flower) which are very symbolic in nature. Later drive to Bargarh to sea the Bandha work by the weaving society. Waiver of Bargarh, Barpali & Sonepur excel in weaving sarees in their own traditional pattern, its always a treat to watch these weaver communities such as bhulias, Kostas, Gaudias creating intricate patterns on fabric. Evening transfer to Sambalpur.

Day 07 Sambalpur – Bhubaneshwar (By Road) (274 Kms. / 6H 50M appx.)
After breakfast, drive to Bhubaneswar, visit tribal museum. Overnight at Bhubaneswar

Departure transfer to Bhubaneshwar airport for flight to onward destination.
