Pushkar is a unique gem amongst the grandeur of Rajasthan. A Tourism delight and the Holy City, Pushkar is internationally known for its colorful cattle fair when thousands of devotees from all faiths assemble to take a dip in the holy lake. “Rajasthani” Dance, “Rajasthani” music, gaily-attired folks and various cultural events makes the Pushkar so attractive for the tourists.
Pushkar cattle and camel fair is a grand event in which around 200 000 people participate. The fair is held on the Kartik Purnima day falling in the month of October or November and continues for around five days. During the Pushkar fair villagers from different villages gather at Pushkar along with their camels and cattle. Livestock owners from all over the country meet at Pushkar to trade these important animal species. The fair at Pushkar involves not only livestock trading but also pilgrimage and festivities.
Rajasthan is at its colorful best during fairs and festivals. There are numerous fairs throughout the year in the state, which brighten the otherwise hard and dreary lives of the villagers of the deserts.One of the most popular and colorful fairs of the Thar desert is the Pushkar fair, which begins on Kartik Shukla Ekadashi & goes on for five days till Kartik Purnima. The time of the fair coincides with the bright half of the moon during the months of October-November. The lake at Pushkar is one of the most sacred in India. From time immemorial, people have been gathering here annually during the month of Kartik to pay obeisance to Lord Brahma.

Day 02 Delhi
After breakfast full day sightseeing of Delhi.
Delhi – India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind. The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British & the Moghuls respectively.
Tourist Attractions: Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, Red Fort, which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648, Chandni Chowk and Rajghat – the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament, Qutab Minar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 Delhi – Mandawa (By Road) (250 kms & 5 hrs approx)
After breakfast leave to Shekhawati, on arrival transfer to hotel.
PM – Visit Shekhawati.
Shekhawati – Nicknamed the Garden of Shekha, Shekhawati reached its political height in the early 18th century during the rule of Shardul Singh. Rao Shekhar, a Kachawaha satrap who ruled over a large part of this land in the 15th century gave the name of Sekhawati to this place. With subsequent historical findings and social developments the monotonous look of the region disappeared to blossom into a colour extravaganza of art and life. Having a fascination unique of its own, this semi desert region, more commonly called as the open air-art gallery, houses a plethora of painted havelis all signifying to the artistic tradition of the land. Day 04 Mandawa – Bikaner (By Road) (200 kms & 4 hrs approx)
After breakfast leave to Bikaner, on arrival transfer to hotel.
PM – Sightseeing of Bikaner.
Bikaner: Someone said if ever beauty has bloomed in a desert, it has been at Bikaner. The colorful desert city of Rajasthan was founded by Rao Bika Ji during 1488 AD; Bikaner is located in North West part of Rajasthan in India. Rao Bikaji was a descendant of Jodha, the founder of Jodhpur. Bikaner was and important historic city in India and it was a major trade center as it stood on the ancient caravan route which linked central Asia and North India with the Gujarat seaports. Tourist Attractions: – Junagarh Fort & Museum, Lallgarh Palace, Camel Breeding Farm. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Bikaner – Jaisalmer (By Road) (333 kms & 7 hrs approx)
After breakfast leave to Jaisalmer, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Evening Camel Safari on Sand Dunes.
Sam Sand Dunes: The most popular site for the sand dunes, Sam sand dunes are located 42 Km from Jaisalmer. The beautiful Sam Sand Dunes is the most popular excursion to see the total sandy bush less desert. It has a truly glorious stretch of sweeping sand dunes. A camel safari to the spot lasts for three to four days. The desert festival in February draws a lot of tourists. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 Jaisalmer
After breakfast full day sightseeing of Jaisalmer.
Jaisalmer – evokes a vivid picture of sheer magic and brilliance of the desert. Legend has it that Rawal Jaisal laid the foundation of the city in 1156 A.D. After consulting a local hermit by the name of Eesul. Tricuta was the hill chosen and Jaisal abandoned his old fort at Lodurva to establish this new capital. Tourist Attractions: – The Jaisalmer Fort, Tazia Tower, Gadsisar Lake, Jain Temples, Havelis. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (By Road) (308 kms & 7 hrs approx)
After breakfast leave to Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Later city tour of Jodhpur.
Tourist Attractions – Mehrangarh Fort It is situated on a 150m high hill. Rao Jodha, the then chief of Rathore clan, constructed it in 1459. There are a number of attractions within the fort like several palaces, galleries, a museum, temples and so on, other attraction Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and Sardar Market. Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 08 Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (By Road) (264 kms / 5 hrs approx)
Morning after breakfast leave to Udaipur enroute visiting Ranakpur, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Ranakpur – The main tourist attractions of Ranakpur are its famous temples. Situated approximately 90km from Udaipur, the Ranakpur temple complex is a must see. The main Chaumukha temple (Four-Faced Temple) is dedicated to Adinath, the first tirthankar. The two other Jain temples in the complex are dedicated to Neminath and Parasnath. There is also the Sun temple and the Amba Mata temple near the main complex.
Arrive Udaipur and go for city tour of Udaipur.
Udaipur: One of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur is also known as the city of lakes. The marble palaces, beautifully laid out gardens and the lakes make Udaipur seem almost like a mirage. The City of Dawn, surrounded by the ancient Aravali Mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples. ‘Udaipur’, known as the lovely lakeside capital of Mewar. Day 09 Udaipur – Pushkar (By Road) (250 Kms / 5 hrs approx)
In morning after breakfast, drive to Pushkar. On arrival, transfer to hotel.

Pushkar: Located just 11 km from Ajmer, Pushkar is a sacred little town in Rajasthan. Pushkar is famous for its scenic beauty and more than 400 temples. Jaipur – Popular in the name of Pink City, Jaipur is and important destination in Golden Triangle of Indian tourism. Founded in 1727 AD by one of the greatest rulers of the Kachhawaha clan, the astronomer king Sawai Jai Singh. The pink color was used at the time of making to create an impression of red sandstone buildings of Mughal cities – and repainted in 1876, during the visit of the Prince of Wale Excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance.
Amber Fort: At a distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar‘s army and is a superb example of Rajput architecture. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (By Road) (235 kms / 4.5 hrs approx)
After breakfast leave by private car to Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri – Built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. The sloping levels of the city were connected into terraces which were utilised for various complexes such as Jami masjid, Buland-Darwazah and tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti; Khass Mahal, Shahi-Bazar, Mina-Bazar, the Panch-Mahal, Khwabgah, Diwan-i-Khass, Anup-Talao, Chaupar and Diwan-i-Am. The efficient system of drainage and water-supply adopted here suggest an extremely intelligent town-planning by the Mughal emperor.
Arrive Agra and go for city tour of Agra.
Taj Mahal, which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 Agra – Delhi (By Road) (208 kms & 4 hrs approx)/ Depart Delhi
Early morning visit Red Fort, which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565.
Return back to hotel for shower and breakfast.
Later, check out from the hotel and straight drive towards Delhi. Arrive and transfer to Delhi international airport for flight back home.
