With the legendary cities of Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, and Jodhpur, built by the Rajput warriors, and the artisan communities and indigenous tribal, Rajasthan is a unique combination of royal and tribal India. Rajputs ruled the Land of Royalty for a long time and till today they are regarded in very high esteem.
Day 01 Arrive Delhi (By Flight)
Arrive Delhi early in the morning at Delhi Airport and meet our tour representative who would be helping you out with an assisted transfer to your hotel. (Rooms will be booked from previous night).
After breakfast city tour of Delhi.
Chandni Chowk: One of the main markets of Delhi, Chandni Chowk was once lined with beautiful fountains. But today the place is very crowded and congested. Chandni Chowk is located opposite the Red Fort. Jama Masjid – One of the Architectural gift given by Shah Jahan, Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques not only in Delhi but in India. Raj Ghats – Along the banks of Jamuna are located the places were the leaders and freedom fighters of India were cremated.
Red Fort (closed on Monday) – This grand fort built during the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan’s reign, this majestic building made of red sandstone is the location from where the Prime Minister of India addresses the nation every Independence Day. The Diwan-e-khas, and Diwan-e-am, the weaponry museum and the sound and light show are all worth seeing at the Red Fort.
Laxmi Narayan Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, is one of Delhi’s major temples and a major tourist attraction. Built by the industrialst Sh. J.K. Birla in 1939, this beautiful temple is located in the west of Connaught Place.
The Parliament house is a cirular colonnaded building . It also houses ministerial offices, numerous committee rooms and an excellent library as well. Conceived in the Imperial Style, the Parliament House consists of an open verandah with 144 columns.
The Presidential Palace -This impressive building was once the palace of the british vice king and is now the seat of the Indian President. The building is located in a huge garden. It can’t be visited because it’s not open to the public.
Next to the gate are several government buildings such as the ministry of foreign affairs and the ministry of finance.
India Gate is a 42m high stone arch of triumph. It bears the name of the 85,000 Indian Army Soldiers who died in the campaigns of WW1, the North-West Frontiers operations and the 1919 Afghan Fiasco. Below the arch is the memorial to the Unknown Soldier. India Gate is surrounded by green grass lawns and trees.
Lotus Temple is also known as Baha’i Temple. It is built in the form of Lotus flower and it reaches an altitude of about 40 m. The structure is completed in the year 1986. It is such a beautiful architecture that one can enjoy its beauty from far away too. The monument is a holy place and belongs to the Baha’i family. It is prepared with clean white marbles in the figure of not completely opened lotus. One can see 27 huge white petals of marble in shape of a lotus. It is springing from nine pools and walkways’.
Qutab Minar – In 1199, Qutbuddin raised the Qutab Minar either as a victory tower or as a minaret to the adjacent mosque. From a base of 14.32 mtrs. it tapers to 2.75 mtrs. at a height of 72.5 mtrs. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02 Delhi – Varanasi (By Flight)
After early breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Varanasi, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Afternoon sightseeing of Varanasi.
Varanasi – The holiest of all cities are lined with millions of temples. Some of the more prominent of them include Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir, Gauri Mata Mandir, Kaal Bhairav Temple and Durga Temple. The city of temples also has a hundred Ghats that lead one into the waters of holy Ganga. Some of the more famous of the Ghats include Panchganga Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Dasaswamedh Ghat, Harishchandra Ghat, Assi Ghat and Kedar Ghat.
Visit Sarnath – One of the major Buddhist centers in India. Having achieved enlightenment in Bodhgaya, it was at Sarnath where Buddha came to preach his message of the middle way to final Nirvana. Later emperor Ashoka erected many magnificent stupas and other buildings here. Sarnath was at its peak when Chinese travellers Fa hian and Hiuen Tsang visited the site.
Evening AARTI ceremony at holy river Ganges.
Ganges – Ghats are the steps on the bank of Ganges which lead down to the river.
In the evening, experience the Hindu ritual Aarti. Aartis also refer to the songs sung in praise of the deity, when offering of lamps is being offered. Hindus in India worship the river Ganges as goddess.
Every evening in Varanasi, aarti is performed at the Dashashwamedh ghat. We can watch it from the Ghat or from the waterside in a boat. It is a beautiful, resonant, and majestic spectacle with a very precise choreography involving rituals performed by several priests with the sound of bells, drums, cymbals, and Sanskrit mantras.

Day 03 Varanasi – Khajuraho (By Flight)
Early morning boats ride on river Ganges.
Boating in the Ganges at the sunrise in Varanasi is one of the main attractions. Observe Hindu’s way of life on the bank of the river Ganges. There are number of temples on the bank of the Ganges River in Varanasi. It is at the Ganga Ghats [Banaras Ghat] where you can see life and death together. There are numbers of Ghat alongside Ganges river in Varanasi where you can see Hindu cremation as well.
Later come back to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Khajuraho, Arrive Khajuraho, meet-assist & transfer to hotel.
PM – Sightseeing of Temples in Khajuraho.
The vehicle will drop you at the entrance to the Western Group of Temples, start exploring the temples. You can also enjoy photography at these marvellous temples. Visitors can visit the temple complex from sunrise to sunset. As far as footwear is concerned, you should opt for sandals or easy to wear shoes. Some of the famous Western groups of temples are Varaha Mandap, Devi Mandap, Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshman Temple and Mahadev shrine. Of these temples, the Lakshman Temple is not only the oldest but also one of the largest. The largest temple however, is the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple which gets its magnificence from its aesthetic proportions and exquisite detailing.
After exploring the Western Group of Temples, head towards the Eastern Group of Temples. Albeit smaller in size, they occupy an important position both historically and culturally. In the Eastern side though, you will mostly come across Jain temples, as it was here that the Jains resided during the rule of Chandela dynasty. The largest of the Jain temple is the Parsvanath Temple, which is dedicated to the Jain Tirthankara Parshvanatha. Besides the Jain temples, there are three Hindu temples, Vamana, Javari and Brahma.

Day 04 Khajuraho–Panna NP–Khajuraho (By Road) (94 Km/ 2 hrs – One Way)
Morning and Afternoon Jeep safari to the Panna National Park with a Naturalist.
Your adventure begins early in the day with a morning safari to Panna National Park. Located in the Vindhyan hills in northern Madhya Pradesh, the park is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna.
Declared a Tiger Reserve in the year 1994, it is home to a large population of tigers. Undoubtedly, they are also a crowd favorite. Inside the park, you can also spot the gharial, a fish-eating crocodile native to the Indian subcontinent. Other mammals which you can expect to spot here are sloth bear, leopard, sambhar, chital, nilgai and chinkara.
Panna National park located in Pann and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. It has an area of 542.67 km (209.53 sq mi). It was declared in 1994 as the twenty second Tiger reserve of India and the fifth in Madhya Pradesh.

Day 05 Khajuraho – Orchha – Jhansi (200 km / 5hrs) / Jhansi – Agra (By Train)
After breakfast, drive to Jhansi via Orchha,
Orchha – was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput chieftain, Rudra Pratap, who chose this stretch of land along the Betwa river as an ideal site for his capital. Of the succeeding rulers, the most notable was Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo who built the exquisite Jehangir Mahal, a tiered palace crowned by graceful chhatris. From here the view of soaring temple spires and cenotaphs is spectacular. Jehangir Mahal built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in the 17th century to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha.
Later continue drive towards to Jhansi railway station for express train to Agra, on arrival transfer to your respective hotel.

Day 06 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (By Road) (35 kms. / 1hr. – One Way)
Early morning visit to Taj Mahal to view sunrise from Taj Mahal with pictures. The morning time is perfect for visiting to Taj Mahal as less crowed and you can view the sunrise when sun is shining on the day. ( Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Friday)
Visit Taj Mahal – Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, it was constructed by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD). Ustad Ahamad Lahori, a Persian Architect, is said to be the main designer and planner for this magnificent memorial.
Later return back to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast, drive towards to Fatehpur Sikri,
Fathepur sikri – This magnificent fortifield ghost city was the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar between 1571 and 1585. The downfall of this once magnificent capital of the Mughals started with the rise of the Jats when Emperor Aurangazeb left this place never to return again. The credit for preserving the ancient monuments situated here goes to Lord Curzon. Since then , these protected monuments and the environs of the city have been well maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. The city is rectangular in shape with nine huge gates – Delhi Darwaza, Lal Darwaza, Agra Gate, Suraj and Chandra Darwaza, Tehra Gate and Ajmeri Darwaza.
Return back to Agra.
Visit Agra fort – Construction of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan.
Visit Itmad-Ud- Daulah,s Tomb – This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir or the Chief Minister of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. The tomb may not be as mammoth as the Taj but the inlay designs and carvings are no less than Taj if not more. The delicate marble latticework in the passages allows the light to enter the interiors.

Day 07 Agra – Jaipur (By Road) (240 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)

After breakfast drive towards to Jaipur, On arrival sightseeing of Jaipur.
Tour Highlights – City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Amber Fort, Jal Mahal, Sisodia Rani ka Bagh.
Visit Jalmahal – (6 kms) on the way to Amer, this small palace is set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. Renovation around the lake is in progress.
Visit Hawa Mahal – The palace is shaped like a pyramid and is a five-storied building, with number of small windows and screens, with arched roofs. As one looks at this building, one realizes that the rear side of the building is comparatively very plain and lacks much of ornamentation.
Visit City to the Maharaja’s City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh in area of the city. One of the major attractions in the museum is the portion known as Armoury Museum housing an impressive array of weaponry-pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles and daggers.
Visit Jantar Mantar, which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the city palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition.
Visit Sisodia Rani ka Bagh- on the road to Agra, the magnificent palace garden was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1710 for his queen.
Visit Laxmi Narayan Temple – is situated just below the Moti 000ngri, known for the intricate marble carvings in white marble, popularly known as Birla Temple.

Day 08 Jaipur – Bikaner (By Road) (330 Kms. / 5-6 hrs)

Morning excursion to Amber fort – Amber is a classic, romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the Fort may not look beautiful from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, apart from festivals.
Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. Inside the Fort visit the Jag Mandir or the Hall of Victory. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal – a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period.
Continue drive from Jaipur to Bikaner.
On arriving, tour of Bikaner attractions.
The first visit is to the stunning Junagarh fort, boasting of illustrative interiors. Constructed in the year 1588, it is also known as one of those few important forts in the state that were erected on hilltops. After exploring this architectural marvel, get onto your bike to visit the National Camel Breeding Farm. Here, you can spot herds and herds of camels returning back to the farm after grazing. Do not miss the lovely desert background and the sunset. Located in the middle of sand dunes, this camel breeding farm has been founded to produce superior breeds of camels, be it for domestic transportation for or use in the military.

Day 09 Bikaner – Jaisalmer (By Road) (330 Kms. / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Jaisalmer, fondly called the ‘Golden City’ of Rajasthan. During your drive, you are going to drive past small tiny rustic villages that are located amidst the vast Thar, sheltered by deep blue sky.
Visit to Sam Dunes, drive for 40 km and you arrive at the world-popular sand dunes that can be seen on both the sides of the road. This experience is going to be memorable for you. Stop at the Sam Sand Dunes camp site. Check -in camp and rest for a while. This night is going to be exciting. Savour lip-smacking Indian and popular World fares on the dunes. Enjoy the bonfire and Kalbelia dance.
Later return back to Jaisalmer.

Day 10 Jaisalmer
Have your breakfast and get ready for a guided tour of Jaisalmer.
First you explore the old part of Jaisalmer with bustling narrow streets dotted with heritage havelis. The next attraction in line is the mighty Jaisalmer Fort, one of the world’s largest fortification. Hovering on a hill around 80 m high, this fort was commissioned by Raja Rawal Jaisal, a Bhatti Ruler in 1156. This massive castle, also known as Sonar Quila, it is made up of sandstone. After exploring this colossal structure, you proceed to the strikingly sculpted Jain temples, made between 12th and 15th century. These beautiful temples are quite popular for delicate carvings. Next in line is the splendid Patwon Ki Haveli, Jaisalmer’s first haveli, built in 1805 by Guman Chand Patwa.

Day 11 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (By Road) (290 Kms. / 4.5 hrs. appx.)

After breakfast, you are going to enjoy a drive to Jodhpur, the ‘Blue City’ or the ‘Sun City’ of Rajasthan. It is named after its founder Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rathore clan, who founded the city in the year 1459.
Arrive Jodhpur, start your sightseeing tour of Jodhopur.
Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, famed as one of the largest forts in India. Erected on a hilltop, 150 m high, this fort was commissioned in the year 1459 by Rao Jodha. You cross 7 gates to arrive at the fort. The view from the top of the fort is lovely.
The next attraction of the day is to the landmark of the city, Jaswant Thada, popular as the Taj Mahal of Jodhpur. This white marble memorial was founded by Maharaja Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, his father.
Enjoy Bluecity by walk – Built by Maharaja Sardar Singh, Ghanta Ghar or Clock Tower is located in Jodhpur, a city in the state of Rajasthan. Tower and the surrounding market is often loved by tourists. This site experiences a great footfall round the year.
Toorji Ka Jhalara is one of the major attractions and depicts how people use to conserve water. Some people call it Stepwell of Jodhpur and is made with rose-red sandstone. This 250-year-old structure is 200 feet deep.
Navchokiya, Ramdeo Ji ka chowk, Singhvi’s Haveli is an about 500-year-old haveli with a guest house. The family is residing in the haveli for 400 years now. It has an amazing view and is worth viewing.

Day 12 Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur (By Road) (250 Kms. / 5.5 hrs)

After breakfast drive to Udaipur via Ranakpur & Kumbalgarh. ( As Ranakpur Jain Temple is open at 12:00Noon only)
The Ranakpur Jain Temple was built during the reign of the liberal and gifted Rajput monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The basement is of 48,000 sq. feet area that covers the whole complex. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty-four pillared halls and domes supported by over four hundred columns. The total number of columns is 1,444 all of which are intricately carved with no two being alike.
Kumbhalgarh Fort is a Mewar fortification on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan in western India. It is known and popular as a World Heritage Site included in Hill Forts of Rajasthan. Constructed and expanded in the course of the 15-19th century by Rana Kumbha, Kumbhalgarh is also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar. Occupied until the late 19th century.
Then drive towards to Udaipur, on arrive transfer to hotel.

Day 13 Udaipur – Delhi – Amritsar (By Flight)
After breakfast, city sightseeing of Udaipur including Boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Udaipur: One of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur is also known as the city of lakes. The marble palaces, beautifully laid out gardens and the lakes make Udaipur seem almost like a mirage. The City of Dawn, surrounded by the ancient Aravali Mountains and set on the edge of three lakes, is a brilliant kaleidoscope of narrow lanes flanked by bright stalls, gardens, lakes, palaces and temples. ‘Udaipur’, known as the lovely lakeside capital of Mewar.
Other attractions: – City Palace & Museum, Saheliyon-ki-Bari, Pratap Memorial, Pichhola Lake, Gulab Bagh.
Later transfer to airport for flight to Amritsar (via Delhi), Arrive Amritsar, meet-assist & transfer to hotel.

Day 14 Amritsar
After breakfast, Start your city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine also known as Harmandir Sahib and Darbar Sahib.
Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- the place that reminds every Indian of the brutal and hearless massacre by british general Dyer.
Golden Temple & market place: Golden Temple is also commonly known as the Darbar Sahib (Divine Court). It is situated in the city of Amritsar in Punjab. The Golden Temple is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. It is a source of inspiration for all Sikhs and their chief place of pilgrimage.
Jallianwala Bagh: After visit golden temple visit JallianwalaBagh – which is just the walking distance from the Golden Temple. Jalianwala has a special importance attached to it with respect to India’s freedom struggle On April 13, 1919 on the auspicious day of Baisakhi hundreds of men; women and children sacrificed their lives in front of ruthless firing of the British forces.
PM – visit India-Pakistan Attari Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Attari Wagah, an army Joint Check Post on India-Pakistan border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening “Beating the Retreat” ceremony.
Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags.
Evening, visit Golden temple and observe the ceremony of preparing Guru Grand Sahib for its every-night rest and moving it to the opposite temple in the complex.
Return to hotel. Overnight in Amritsar.
