Day 2 Vilnius
City tour of Vilnius. During the Vilnius city tour you will have the chance to soak up the atmosphere of the city’s history of 16th – 19th centuries. Walking along its narrow winding streets, you will visit the most exciting architectural and historic monuments such as Vilnius Cathedral Square, Gediminas Castle, The 16th century St. Anne’s Church, Vilnius University, Vilnius Town Hall, the Jewish Quarter and the Gate of Dawn.

Day 03 Vilnius
Relax on the hotel. In the afternoon a trip to Trakai with traditional local Karaites cuisine lunch. Located in a picturesque lakeside area within a short drive from Vilnius lies one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions – Trakai, the medieval capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The historic part of the town conserved the ruins of the Peninsula Castle, the authentic heritage of a small ethnic group of Karaites and, most importantly, the number one mustsee site – the famous Insular Castle on the lake. Step back in time as you explore its chambers, turrets and cellars reminiscing of the castle’s medieval glory, then return to its beautiful surroundings to take in the serenity of nature, check out the souvenir shops for gifts to bring back home, relax and simply let the eye wander.

Day 04 Vilnius – Dzukija National Park (By Road) (94 km / 1 hrs 20 min appx)
Proceed to Dzukija National which comes under Druskininkai region – this area famousfor Lithuanian forests. Sprawling boundlessly across Dzukija National Park and steeped with nature‘s abundant gifts, Dainava Forest is the largest and densest of the country‘s plentiful woodlands. As you wonder beneath its cool canopy of hundred-year-old trees, breathing in the fresh pine-scented air and admiring the lush green landscapes, look out for hundreds of types of mushrooms and berries. The guides at the traditional homestead „Dzukijos Uoga“ can help you spot the most valuable edible treats while sharing the secrets of Dzukija‘s national craft – foraging. With a bit of local cookery advice, master the art of turning your harvest into mouth-watering delicacies – the joys of hunting and preparing your own food in the wild! Day 05 Dzukija National Park – Druskininkai (By Road) (50 km / 55 min appx)
Proceed to Druskininkai – the mineral water capital of Lithuania. Rich in underground mineral water resources, the small town of Druskininkai is renowned for its abundant SPA centres, cozy hotels and plentiful health retreats. En route to Druskininkai you will get the chance to visit Grutas Park, a soviet sculpture park and a second-to-none open air exhibition filled with remnants of Lithuania‘s soviet occupation. A welcome SPA package awaits you at your hotel – relax, unwind and indulge your senses. For your spare time at the resort, we recommend a splash at the Druskininkai Water Park or a few hours of winter fun at the Snow Arena – an indoor/outdoor ski centre that operates year-round.
