Srinagar’s top tourist attractions for sightseeing tours include the beautiful Mughal Gardens which include Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Garden and Chashme Shahi Garden, each spectacular in its own way. A visit to Srinagar is incomplete without seeing the famous religious site of Hazratbal Shrine, where the hair strand of Prophet Mohammad is preserved carefully. The Shankaracharya Temple, situated at a height of 300 m atop a hill is one of the most popular Hindu religious destinations in Srinagar. Another important Hindu place of worship in Srinagar is the Kheer Bhawani Temple to pay a visit.

Day 01 Arrive Delhi (By Flight)
Arrival in Delhi in the morning. Breakfast in hotel and some rest. Than Delhi sightseeing tour of main highlights – Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Lotus Temple and New Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.

Delhi- India’s capital and a major gateway to the country. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left behind. The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the capitals of the British & the Moghuls respectively.

Tourist Attractions: Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, Red Fort, which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648, Chandni Chowk and Lotus Temple. Witness the India Gate, The Presidents House & the Parliament, Qutab Minar.

Day 02 Delhi – Srinagar (By Flight)
Morning flight to Srinagar earliest possible. Continue with Srinagar tour – Wooden mosque, Old Town, Shalimar Gardens ,Nishat Bagd gardens, Garden on the mountain slope forgot the name, but third famous garden of Srinagar. Boat on Dal lake.

Srinagar:- Srinagar is located in the picturesque Kashmir valley and one of the most beautiful cities in India in terms of natural splendor. The tourist attractions of Srinagar are mainly related to natural beauty like lakes, gardens, etc

Shalimar Gardens:- Shalimar Gardens are the piece de resistance of Srinagar’s many gardens and parks. This royal garden was laid out four hundred years ago by the Mughal Emperor Jehangir for his wife.

Nishat Bagh Gardens :- Nishat Bagh, though smaller than Shalimar, is more intensely beautiful. Descending in tiers to the Dal’s edge, Nishat is well known for its stately chinar plane trees, imported to Kashmir from distant Persia by the Mughals. Many of the giant chinar trees have been planted by the Mughals.

Dal Lake is a major tourist attraction in Srinagar. Located on the eastern end of the city, the Dal Lake comprises of a series of lakes, including the Nagin Lake some 8 kms from the city center. One can enjoy the panoramic view of the mountains dotting Srinagar from this lake. You can enjoy taking a ride on traditional Kashmiri boats or the Shikaras to discover the intricate network of waterways of this lake.

Day 03 Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (By Road) (50 Kms. / 2 hrs. – One Way)
Early morning boat to Vegetable floating market. Than tour to Gulmarg resort and hike in the valley to Gondola. Gondola ride to 2nd level top. Return to Srinagar.

Gulmarg 2440 Meters above Sea level – it is one of the most beautiful hill station in this world and also called meadows of flower. It has world highest golf course World Highest and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports skiing etc. Enjoy guided sightseeing of Gulmarg also enjoy Gondola ride Cable car, own cost from Gulmarg to Khilan. Return back to Srinagar. Overnight Srinagar

Day 04 Srinagar – Sonamarg – Kargil   (By Road) (204 Kms. / 6.5 hrs. appx.)
Drive to Kargil on the way Sonmarg valley with hike to Thajiwas glacier ponies optional. Crossing Zoji La pass. Overnight in Kargil.

Sonamarg: is situated at a height of 2740 m in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Sonamarg is a small and beautiful hill resort. Sonamarg literally means the ‘Meadow of Gold’ and is known so due to the flowers that wraps the meadow in the spring. In the earlier days, Sonamarg lies on the main trading route into central Asia. Sonamarg is the last major point in the Kashmir valley before the Zoji La pass into Ladakh. At the pass, the green and lush Kashmiri landscape changes to the barren and dry landscape of Ladakh. Sonamarg offers various places of interest to the tourists like Nilagrad, Bisansar Lake & Krishnasar Lake and Nichnai Pass.

Day 05 Kargil – Suru Valley – Kargil
Long day trip to Suru valley and Parkachik glacier photo. Hike crossing Lago La pass from Parkachik to Panikar. Return to Kargil

Suru Valley – One of the most beautiful regions of Ladakh, the Suru Valley is the heartland of Kargil district. Nestling along the northern foothills of the Great Himalayan Wall, it extends from Kargil town, first southward for a length of about 75 kms up to the expanse around Panikhar, and thence eastward for nearly 65 kms, up to the foot of the Penzila watershed, where the Suru River rises.

Parkachik Glacier, spilling down the Nun-Kun slopes, to collapse into the Suru River forming a huge icefall. One can walk up to the glacier across a good suspension footbridge over the Suru. Some mountaineers use this glacier to approach the difficult north face route to scale Mt. Nun. The upper Suru Valley also offers excellent camping options.

Day 06 Kargil – Lamayuru (By Road) (108 Kms. / 5 hrs. appx)
Drive to Lamayuru – Visit Mulbekh Buddha Carving and Shergol Gompa. Late afternoon visit Moonscape landscape and Lamayuru monastery. Overnight in Lamayuru.

Lamayuru, Belongs to Dripung Kagyu Red Hat like Phyang. The oldest structure in Lamayuru is the Singey Lhakhang built by the founder of Alchi Lotsava Rinchen bzangpo in 11th century. After visiting Lamayuru we proceed further to Leh enrote visiting Ridzong Gompa, known as the paradise for Meditation.

Day 07 Lamayuru – Leh (By Road) (120 Kms. / 4 hrs. appx.)
Drive to Leh, on the way visit Alchi Gompa, then in afternoon rafting on Zanskar river. Overnight in Leh.

Leh town offers a number of sightseeing options for the visitors. A historic town that served as the royal capital of the Old Kingdom, it is dominated by the nine-storey palace built by King Singge Namgyal in the grand tradition of Tibetan architecture, which is said to have inspired the famous Potala in Lhasa built about half a century later.

Day 08 Leh
Leh sightseeing tour with some free time for walking around can finalize the permits for Nubra and Pangong lake. Overnight in Leh.

Day 09 Leh
Monastery day – visit to Shey palace and gompa, Thikshey Gompa.
Return to Leh. Overnight in Leh.

Day 10 Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh (By Road) (150 Kms. / 5 hrs – One Way)
Long tour to Pangon Lake start early crossing Chang La pass. 4-5 hours photo stops and walking along the coast including picnic by the lake. Return to Leh arriving with the sunset.

Day 11 Leh – Nubra Valley – Leh (By Road) (110 Kms. / 4 hrs. – One Way)
Long day tour to Nubra valley crossing Khardung La pass, visit monastery and Big Buddha statue. Visit Sand dune district and take 30 min camel ride in the dunes. Return to Leh.

Nubra Valley is situated about 150 km north of Leh, the capital town of Ladakh, India. Its name is derived from Ldumra the valley of flowers. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. above the sea level. The common way to access this valley is to travel over the Khardung La from Leh where one will first encounter the Shuok Valley. To enter the Nubra valley.

Day 12 Leh – Delhi (By Flight)
Morning flight to Delhi.
On arrival, visit Qutub Minar, Rajghat, India Gate, Parliament, Humayuns Tomb.
Overnight in Delhi.

Day 13 Depart Delhi (By Flight)
Morning transfer to airport.
