Day 1: Arrive Dhaka
Upon arrival at Dhaka’ international airport, you’ll be met by your friendly driver and transferred to your comfortable city-center hotel. Get acquainted with your surroundings, enjoy some dinner and relax as your Bangladesh adventures begin.
Day 2: Dhaka – Bandarban
After a hotel breakfast in Dhaka, you’re jetting off once again, this time on a domestic flight to Chittagong. Here, after a wander around the ethnological museum, it’s on to Bandarban Hill Tract by car. Check in to your hotel and stick around for some lunch before you head out to explore the Buddhist Dhatu Jadi Temple and browse the local bazaar.
Day 3: Bandarban
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before a full-day excursion. Today, you’ll visit the different tribes of Mru, Bawm, Marma and Tripura in their local villages and get a glimpse of their lifestyle. Then it’s on to Nilgiri, one of the tallest peaks in Bangladesh, via open-top Jeep. Stop en route for lunch in a local restaurant and enjoy views from the top of the world. Finally, make your way back to your hotel for dinner and a good night’s sleep.
Day 4: Bandarban – Dhaka
After breakfast, you’ll hit the road for Rangamati, enjoying gorgeous scenery on the five-hour drive. Check in to your Rangamati hotel and sample some local food for lunch. Then, spend the afternoon looking around the area’s Buddhist temples and souvenir shops before dinner and a relaxing evening.
Day 5: Dhaka
Enjoy breakfast before you embark on a morning boat cruise on Lake Kaptai. Stop off to visit the Chakma tribal village and grab lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you can relax on the leisurely scenic drive back to Chittagong airport in time to catch your flight back to Dhaka. Enjoy your final evening with some dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in your city hotel.
Day 6: Depart Dhaka
After your final breakfast in Dhaka, it’s time to say goodbye to Bangladesh as you transfer to the airport for your onward international flight.
