Day 2 Antananarivo – Antsirabe (By Road) (169 kms / 3 hrs appx.)
Proceed to Antsirabe through a landscape composed mainly of mountains and rice fields. Tour of the “Town of Water” – So called because of its numerous thermal springs and existence of two crater lakes. Visit of a workshop where they make miniatures from recycled materials. Day 3 Antsirabe – Ranomafana (By Road) (240 kms / 5 hrs 30 mins)
Proceed to Ranomafana – a national park of rainforest which is home to various species of lemurs such as the golden bamboo lemurs, brown lemurs, birds, chameleons, frogs. Stop in Ambositra for the visit of some Zafimaniry handicrafts centres: woodcarving Continuation to Ranomafana. Day 4 Ranomafana – Fianarantsoa (By Road) (85 kms / 1 hrs / 30 mins appx.)
Proceed to the Park with its lemurs, chameleons, spiders, frogs, varieties of orchids and medicinal plants. After to Fianarantsoa – the capital of the Betsileo tribe. Overnight in Fianarantsoa,
Day 5 Fianarantsoa – Ranohira (By Road) (295 kms / 5 hrs 30 mins appx.)
Proceed to Ranohira. Stop in Ambalavao – The commercial centre of the southern Betsileo region, renowned for its folks, arts and crafts – to visit a wine producer for wine tasting and the “Antemoro Paper” factory This paper is a delicate, handmade, flower-decorated paper made of the fibres of the tree called “Avoha”. After Ambalavao for visiting a small reserve to observe Ring-tailed Lemurs in their natural surroundings. Continuation to Ranohira. Overnight in Ranohira,
Day 6 Ranohira
Proceed to a whole day trekking inside the Isalo National Park to discover the massif of Isalo, its ruinlike sandstones, canyons, natural swimming pool and endemic fauna and flora. Overnight in Ranohira,
Day 7 Ranohira – Tulear (By Road) (240 kms / 4 hrs appx.)
Proceed to Tulear along a straight road. The landscape is composed of high bushes, thick gallery forests and some proudly decorated Mahafaly tombs. Visit of the Arboretum with many species of endemic plants of the deep south.

Day 8 Tulear – Antananarivo (By Flight)
Proceed to Antananarivo. Overnight in Antananarivo,
Day 9 Antananarivo – Morondava (By Flight)
Proceed to Morondava. Meeting at airport and transfer to the city. Overnight in Morondava,
Day 10 Morondava – Kirind Reserve – Morondava (50 kms / 1 hrs – One Way)
Proceed to the Kirindy dry forest reserve with its lemurs, snakes, fossa etc. On the way back stop to admire the beauty of the famous Baobab Avenue during sunset. Overnight in Morondava,
Day 11 Morondava – Antananarivo (By Flight)
Proceed to Antananarivo. Overnight in Antananarivo,
Day 12 Depart Antananarivo
Departure transfer to onward destination.
