Enjoy a comfortable trip to the beautiful Marlborough Wine Region, where the breathtaking Wairay Valley awaits covered by vineyards and surrounded by high mountains. Visit five to six different wineries, from the smallest boutique/family-owned wineries to the largest well-known brands.
Marlborough produces a wine style for every palate. Sample a variety of cool climate wines, including zesty Sauvignon Blancs, fruity aromatics, and smooth Pinot Noirs. Your professional, friendly guide shares knowledge about the wine region and its history, telling stories about wineries and their people.
Breathtaking scenery encompasses all the destinations on this tour. Stop for lunch (not included) at a local winery/restaurant, where another local specialty awaits: Marlborough greenshell mussels. Don’t worry if you don’t like mussels; other menu options are available. You can also try one of their gourmet platters filled with cheeses, meats, seafood, and chutneys.
Returning to Picton, stop at the local Makana chocolate factory to witness the production of their divine chocolates, sampling a sweet treat afterward. Depending on the time and the tour group’s desires, you can stop at various other venues offering honey, olive oils, gifts, gelato, and other items.
